NYRB is the most distinguished literary-political journal in the nation. It has a huge readership. It reaches a different audience than education journals.

The only felons are those who weaponzied government along with their anti-Trump supporters ewho have allowed theior leaders and legal arm to violate our federal laws, policies, regualtions and just basic ethical values that protects every citizen, rich or poor, Democrat or otherwise.
NDA – look it up and the rest of the 49 states version of it.
Financing our enemies as Obama and Biden did.
Racketeering while in public office – Biden remains unrepentent.
Contracting foreign IT services against our FARS yet Hillary did far more in the illegal destruction of classified information and the tax payer paid equiment it all resided on.
Campaign interference that was a conspiracy and later became an Espionage Act crime as Hillary financed four foreign agents – and still she is not even mentioned in the same vein as the NY federal trial enablers seemed to let go by without an investigation so as to eevn appear even handed in the executrion of their jobs to protect one and all.
But far worse is a question no leftist will answer or care about – who is running our nation since Biden’s brain went awry?
But in terms of education instead of indoctrination, one look at the programming of the inter city kids who never escape the slums or lwo income realms that Democarts continue to enslave them with promises still unrealized except for those who elected and had the choice where their, not It Takes A Village Nazis thugs, could send children to learn to think, not comply with a world gone astray.
The last election is the only truth to what We the People find of value and the direction we choose as a free people to include the responsibility that is ours, and not the state, when it comes not only to our chidlren’s future, but their ehtical and moral values as well.
As one from a real immigrant family that Biden lied about from the same state, to paying my oiwn way through college while others kissing the ring of their Democratic Party handlers in DC for a college education that irresponsibly contracted for and makes ownder with that character and lack of basic common sense, hwo did they ever get into a university to being with.
As history teaches us all, and as most here enjoy the personal freedoms that even are not afforded in other western nations we think they do, children are our nation’s safeguard that we will survive another 250 years as all Repbublics are fragile and all too often are destroyed from within by the lowest of us all who think it is the Republic that sustains them when it is We the People that keep the dream alive.

Diane, I read your article in full–well done. “Education” in my experience, way-too-often is thought of, if thought of at all, tacitly as a second-hand topic. Getting that “push-back” from a well-known writer and educator (you) against present powerful forces in such a venue is an exceptional contribution to the whole movement, giving it “first-hand” status. I’m also glad the editors added nice visual references to your published works. To be clear, not to sell books (though who would complain) but to keep the ideas out there–cred works. CBK
