Mistake or no mistake, this pretty much sums it all up: Why are we surrounded with this craziness? Why can we see the detriment of privatization on our public, yet so many cannot? Why can’t I match my socks properly at 5:00 in the morning?
To answer your last question, because “the darkest hour is just before dawn”! (cue piano riff)
I actually went to work one day with two different shoes on–I was so busy, I hadn’t noticed until the end of the day. The colors were identical and the styles were similar. Conclusion: Dressing in the dark is fashionably dangerous.
I know a teacher who purposefully wears different shoes- on April Fool’s Day. The kids spend so much time trying to convince her she has two different shoes on, they never pull any other pranks on her.
Done the same with the shoes, two very similar black ones-ha ha! But then again I like to get to school early-a little too early sometimes, I guess!
What a wonderful way to reach for the higher level thinking skills of almost anyone.
