This is a remarkable story. The parents of a 3-year-old in Winter Park, Florida, signed him up for a league of mostly 5-year-olds. The little guy dominated the game. No one could get the ball away from him, and he easily scored against the older boys.
Someone called the police and complained about the 3-year-old.
It’s not a hoax. Watch the little guy playing soccer, and you can see a future great in soccer.
One journal called The Baller Alert reported:
A 3 year old soccer standout named Nevada was kicked out of his youth league in Winter Park, Florida, and police escorted his family off the field after parents on the opposing team complained that none of their kids could get the ball from him.
Another one, Blacksportsonline, reported the story.
A family says police escorted them and their 3-year-old son off an i9 Sports youth soccer field in Winter Park after the league issued a trespass, following complaints from opposing parents that the boy held the ball too much and was “trying to put on a show.”
The incident, captured in video the family posted to TikTok under the handle @nevadaney10 and later shared widely, shows the child — identified by his parents as Nevada — playing in a league with kids roughly two years older. According to the family’s accounts in the video and related posts, he dominated possession, was substituted multiple times in a roughly 30-minute game, and still scored multiple goals (the family cited 10 in one game). Opposing parents are heard complaining that the play was unfair.
Nevada is black. Most of the other players are not. Could that be the reason he was ejected from the game?

The three year old knows how to play the game and the parents complained ! The complaining parents are just poor babies and sore losers.

Of course it’s because he’s black. I hadn’t finished reading your article before I pulled up the videos of him — once I saw him, it was clear. The kid is crazy talented. I hope he goes far.

To me, the child looks like a little Pelé.

Amazing soccer player.
AA natural.
The clubs should be competing to get him, not kicking him out.

Yes. It is and always will be a KKK racist community. When I was a child there were KKK posters on every light post and telephone pole there

I used to help coach at a small high school. Over the years I witnessed the difficulty of dealing with extraordinary talent in a situation where most participants are barely adequate. It is not an easy thing to be the parent of a prodigy. Nor is it easy to coach against a team with a prodigy.
In many ways, this mirrors our struggle to provide for the intellectually prodigious in school. The only difference is that the team sport does not give the incompetent a place to hide. Nor does it cease to reward the team that is so good it far out-paces the competition.
I suggest this little guy go find some competition. If he can score 10 goals against people two years older than he is, put him with kids three years older. He needs some resistance so he can get better.

The kid was making amazing pro-like moves, for sure. He’s been watching and practicing to be doing that. However, the parents riding the coach really hard in a teeny little soccer league is definitely a kickable offense.

This 3-year-old is a soccer prodigy. He should be in a league for 7-year-olds.
