Stubb made a compelling case for the EU to continue to stand behind Ukraine, and he based his comments on how Finland had to break free from Russia. It was a remarkable plan, clearly laid out, and what is even more remarkable, the speech was in his third language. Stubb speaks Swedish, Finnish and English. BTW Finnish is not a Scandinavian language. It is actually similar to Estonian, whose settlers migrated there a long time ago. His plan includes US participation, which may be curtailed, due to the current regime. The orange puppet promised harsh sanctions against Russia if Putin would not negotiate in good faith. Where are they? Instead, he staged a “bro show” for the war criminal. and Putin promptly resumed bombing Ukrainians.

PUTIN CAN’T MEET WITH ZELENSKIY
In order to “sell” his illegal invasion of Ukraine to the Russian people, Putin told them that Zelenskiy was another Hitler and was “nazifying” Ukraine. The Russian people absolutely HATE Hitler because he murdered hundreds of thousands of Russian prisoners of war in WWII.
So, now it’s impossible for Putin to negotiate with Zelenskiy because the Russian people would either see Putin as negotiating with Hitler, or would see that Putin lied to them
That means that Putin can’t negotiate with Zelensky.
So, Putin will continue to stall and will step up his military attacks on Ukraine with the aim of causing Ukraine to collapse before Putin is put on the spot by the world and by the Russian people.
PUTIN WANTS VETO POWER OVER AMERICA AND NATO: On Wednesday, August 20, Putin also announced that he must be given veto power over any plans that NATO and America come up with to assure Ukraine’s territorial security. Basically, Putin doesn’t want Ukraine to be secure from more Russian invasion. Some “peace” deal.
MEANWHILE….TRUMP IS TELLING WIDOWS AND ORPHANS TO BETRAY THEIR DEAD HUSBANDS AND FATHERS.
Hundreds of thousands of brave Ukrainian soldiers died in the fields and streets of the Ukrainian land that Trump is saying Ukraine must give up to the criminal invasion by Russia.
That land is sacredly soaked with the blood of those brave defenders. Yet, Trump is telling the widows and orphans of those soldiers that they must give the stolen land to the thief who killed their husbands and fathers.
Is that Just? Is that moral?
In 1938 when Hitler invaded and stole the Sudetenland region from the nation of Czechoslovakia, western politicians caved in to his demands and made an agreement that Hitler could keep the region if he promised not to take more.
That made Hitler and Japan view western nations, including the United States, as weak and naive — and that is why Hitler felt he could invade Poland and why Japan felt it could attack Pearl Harbor. Those attacks led to World War II in which more than 75,000,000 people were killed, including more than 1,000,000 American casualties.
Putin won’t stop with Ukraine — Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia are already in Putin’s gun sights, after the U.S. and Europe give him the territory he wants in Ukraine. That will start World War III because those tiny nations are members of NATO. So here we go again.
Think about it: Putin is demanding something monstrous and immoral: Putin is demanding that the U.S. and Europe desecrate the blood of Ukrainians who died defending their land from Putin’s invasion. Would you agree to that?

Putin will never meet with Zelensky because he thinks Ukraine belongs to Russia and Zelensky is an illegitimate leader.

Poland is at risk of invasion by Putin as well and that country has been taking defensive measures in preparation for it.
