Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem testified before the Senate Appropriations Committee’s Subcommittee on Homeland Security a few days ago. During the hearing, Senator Chris Murphy gave her a stern lecture on all the ways she is breaking the law–by overspending her budget, by picking up and deporting people with legal status, by ignoring the due process rights of those detained, and by repeatedly breaking the law and defying Congress.
It’s five minutes of your time, time well spent.

Trump and his minions like Noem are Fascist through and through. They are all clearly following the 2025 outline that Trump claims he never read or supports. What Senator Murphy said about Noem can actually be said of everyone of Trump’s incompetent individuals who he has put in positions their ineptness is leading, by design, the destruction of the United States government and our democracy.
Trump and his minions are, in my view, domestic terrorist and should be treated as such and locked up for life in a federal prison such as the one at Fort Leavenworth. They serve no useful purpose to this country, the people of this country, and are definitely not living up the laws of this country and the Constitution they swore an oath to uphold and defend. Lock them all up, including Trump and his family, and throw away the keys. Be sure to provide them with due process before locking them away from the rest of humanity.

I applaud people like Senator Chris Murphy, Compare that with the video from my far R Senator Jim Banks [R-IN]. He is a Trump supporter who appreciates the good work that Elon Musk and DOGE are doing.

Nothing infuriates me more than to have a Senator who lies. Unfortunately, Jim Banks comes from red state Indiana. Trump supporters believe his lies and Fox spreads them. FIRE MUSK. DOGE is intruding on our privacy and is firing skilled workers in every government department. People in poor countries are dying from lack of healthcare due to lack of funding for USAID. Trump doesn’t have the right to cut money already appropriated by Congress. He doesn’t know that everyone in the U.S. has the right to due process. Fortunately, he wasn’t elected the Pope.
