One of them was Jeff Bezos, owner of The Washington Post. Her cartoon appeared on her Substack blog, Open Windows.

But maybe it is DJT who once thought he was in charge. Clearly he is not. The crowd surrounding him now are not loyal lieutenants appointed by his father Fred. They will not bail Junior out of this global crisis that he has created. He is being taken deeper and deeper into the bowels of hideous and he will not find a way out. The President of Mexico found him to be a highly agitated and unfocused individual. And that was on a Tariff Phone Call. There will not be enough anti-anxiety meds on the shelf to counter what he is about to experience. He does not like playing 2nd fiddle. He has no interest or talent for serious governance. A meltdown is in the making.

I think the takeover of GAZA thing is a red herring to take the spotlight off of Trump’s Musk money machine, not to mention the other billionaires who are involved, e.g., Peter Theil. Though Trump’s mental framework is probably built by a quick-think about hotel management. CBK

Perhaps Gaza is a bait and switch to make us forget that he lost the tariffs fight, but Netanyahu certainly wants this, or he would not have committed genocide there in response to the Oct 7 incident.

Musk IS in charge. Team Trump just doesn’t realize that yet. He who controls the government computers controls the government.
Just as the clueless Democrats were overrun by Musk’s minions’ high-tech mantra “Move fast and break things” *so, too, were Trump’s crew outflanked and overrun by the Musk *blitzkrieg…and Team Trump doesn’t yet even know what has happened and are putting on a “good face” over their consternation.
