While Ukrainians are running low on ammunition, the House of Representatives has not passed the authorization to supply them with more arms to defend their nation. Speaker Johnson, who is part of the extrenist Freedom Caucus, says he will not bring the bipartisan Senate bill to a vote. If enough members of both parties vote for a discharge petition, the bill would be voted on and very likely passed.
Meanwhile, Speaker Johnson is having fun with his hero.

When the con man and a religious fanatic unite, nothing good for the American people and personal liberties will come from it. They simply want to create chaos and distraction while they rob the commons and diminish our rights. Contrary to what they say, they do not support The Constitution. They want power, each for his own reasons.
The only good news is that the IVF fetus as person hood decision in Alabama has the so-called Freedom Caucus split. Trump and Gates do not agree with the decision because they know such an extremist policy would likely be a loser at the polls. Democrats need to exploit the rift.

Johnson was in Binghamton,NY Thursday at a fundraiser for Rep. M. Molinaro(who campaigned as moderate but votes with MAGA) We were one of 3 districts that recently got a change in the gerrymandered maps. Unfortunately, ours still favors the R. Hoping to defeat MAGA Marc next election.Obviously campaigning more important to them their jobs.

Exactly that. And the list is long for behind-the-scenes people. In my view, it’s prima facia that “MAGA” is a group of people who have either lost their minds, have NO IDEA about the concrete implications of their political activities or of authoritarianism, and/or have experienced a total moral and spiritual collapse.
BTW, if you saw the massive numbers of “red for Trump” counties in the SC voting, and then that little strip associated with Haley, and then the commentator saying that that small group were of mostly “college-educated” and other similarly different-from-red “tags,” it might be a clue about a FAILURE IN EDUCATION IN THIS COUNTRY, and especially in high schools. It seems to me that these people could NOT have received anything that resembles a political education–not “propaganda,” just to be politically well-informed. CBK

One task of these two Putin puppets is to link a border “solution” together with funding for Ukraine. By killing their own border deal they jeopardize Ukraine’s future. This is intentional. There is no other reason for connecting these two separate issues.
