A 33-year-old woman insinuated herself into the inner circle at Mar-A-Lago, posing as a member of the famed Rothschild family. She used fake identity papers. She played golf with Trump and Lindsay Graham. At the least, the story shows how lax was security at Trump’s resort. At worst, why was she there?
For a time, Anna de Rothschild boasted of her family roots to the European banking dynasty, donning designer clothes, a Rolex watch, and driving a $170,000 black Mercedes-Benz SUV.
She talked about developing a sprawling luxury housing project on Emerald Bay in the Bahamas, a high-rise hotel in Monaco, and a Formula One race track in Miami, say people who knew her.
A pivotal moment for the woman who was fluent in several languages took place last year when she was invited to Mar-a-Lago, where she mingled with former President Donald Trump’s supporters and showed up the next day for a golf outing with Mr. Trump and Sen. Lindsey Graham among other political luminaries….
A year before the FBI’s spectacular raid of the former president’s seaside home, the woman whose real name is Inna Yashchyshyn, a Russian-speaking immigrant from Ukraine, made several trips into the estate posing as a member of the famous family while making inroads with some of the former president’s key supporters.
The ability of Ms. Yashchyshyn — the daughter of an Illinois truck driver — to bypass the security at Mr. Trump’s club demonstrates the ease with which someone with a fake identity and shadowy background can get into a facility that’s one of America’s power centers and the epicenter of Republican Party politics.
Why was she there? Who paid for her car and clothing? How did she get a fake passport?
She was Ukrainian.
She was both Russian and Ukrainian.
Are you asserting that Russian speaking people in Ukraine are not ‘Ukrainian’? She was Ukrainian, not ‘Russian’. She spoke ‘Russian’.
My wife speaks French, I speak a bit of German.
I would say that we don’t have enough information about who she is, why she was so easily admitted to Mar-a-Lago, why she easily become a close friend of Trump and his crowd. We don’t know why she pulled off this elaborate scam or who paid for it.
You might have a point. However, she is known to be Ukrainian, and the fact that you didn’t point out that reality kinda tweaked my nose. And, thus, invited a response.
Another point is that there is no evidence that she gathered any ‘secrets’. However, the fact that she had access to some of them (thanks to the bumbler) is cause for concern. Why are you insistent upon presenting Ukraine (wildly anti-semitic before and during WWII) as a nation of angelic blue-eyed innocents? Why portray Russia (our ally in those times) as an evil empire? I suggest you look back and consider an honest look at US history before you answer.
Final note: What’s the difference between a Ukrainian and a Russian? Is it race?
Under Putin, as under Stalin, Russia is as an evil, malevolent empire. He is sacrificing the lives of Russian men for no reason at all.
Ukraine was very anti-Semitic before and during World War 2. Now its president and prime minister are Jewish. Ukraine did nothing to provoke Putin’s vicious war of attrition. Its leaders are not Nazis. They are Jewish.
She was Ukrainian, not Russian.
She held a Russian passport and traveled as a Russian.

I suspect Ms. Yashchyshyn may have been there with Traitor Trump’s approval and knowledge to go through the classified information for rasPutin, and take photos for rasPutin of information that would damage the US’s ability to defend itself if rasPutin decides to launch a nuclear WWIII.
How much does Traitor Trump owe Russia’s rasPutin for the more than two billion dollars Germany’s Deutsche Bank loaned the traitor over the years?

“I need loyalty, I expect loyalty.” — Donald Trump.
According to people who know him well, Trump’s definition of loyalty is blunt. “Support Donald Trump in anything he says and does,” Roger Stone, the president’s longest-running political adviser, told me. “No matter what,” former Trump Organization executive Barbara Res said. “Or else,” added Louise Sunshine, a friend of Trump for nearly 50 years. “I think he defines it as allegiance,” biographer Tim O’Brien told me. “And it’s not allegiance to the flag or allegiance to the country—it’s allegiance to Trump.” …
“His whole life, the people loyal to Trump were the people who pleased him and praised him, who kowtowed to him, who fought for him and attacked others at his behest, who were willing to do whatever it took to get him whatever he wanted.”
https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2018/03/06/donald-trump-loyalty-staff-217227/
She was Ukrainian.
Not all Ukrainians are loyal to their country. Some are loyal to Russia’s rasPutin.
“In Ukraine, the Russian speakers’ potential level of support toward Russia is very complex because of the country’s history and the divided nature of allegiances that are visible on a regional basis. Ukraine is divided between the mostly Ukrainian speaking western region and the mainly Russian-speaking eastern region.8 What complicates this situation, however, is that determining who is ethnically Russian does not always coincide with who is a Russian speaker. Ethnicity in the Ukrainian census is shown by self-identification and we know that ethnicity is malleable according to the theoretical literature.”
https://www.airuniversity.af.edu/Wild-Blue-Yonder/Article-Display/Article/2949512/are-the-russian-speakers-in-ukraine-on-putins-side/
Read the concluding paragraph first. What side does Ms. Yashchyshyn belong to, Putin’s Russians that are Ukrainian citizens or is her loyalty to her country?
Since an estimated 20 to 30 million Americans are only loyal to Traitor Trump and not the United States Constitution, it isn’t impossible that Ms. Yashchyshyn is loyal to Russia’s rasPutin.
So, what you are saying is that ‘Ukrainians’ (particularly Eastern ones who speak Russian) do not like to be treated as second-class by the Western ones and would rather be aligned with Russia, right? And, so, in a ‘democracy’, why do they have to live under Western rule? Why not let them form their own independent State?
However, the truth is that this person was Ukrainian. Unless you want to declare every Jew in America as an Israeli. I wouldn’t so that, but you might.
Do not imply that was what I was saying. It wasn’t. I didn’t not say what you infer and allege.
At this point, I think you work for or support rasPutin, one of his Russian trolls paid or volunteering to do all they/you can to destroy NATO and democratic countries like every country in the EU and in North America..
Ah! The tactic of ‘smearing the messenger’. Time honored, but intensely dishonest.
I live in Tennessee (which makes me ‘stupid’, right?).
I don’t know if you really live in Tennessee. maybe rasPutin orders his puppets to say that to fool the MAGA millions so they’ll tear the US apart.
Doubling down, I see, by using the same tactic (smearing, name calling and implying that I’m a liar).
Are you from New York (home of Trump)? If there’s anything you should have learned from recent history, it’s the reality that humans (particularly dishonest ones) ‘project’. Those who assume someone else is lying are usually liars, themselves.
I would expect more from a teacher, but, of course, I also ‘project”
Anyone, in today’s world, where lies and conspiracy theories are common on the internet, hiding behind a sock-puppet name has no credibility. Daedalus, in Greek mythology was a skillful architect and craftsman. That doesn’t mean you are another Daedalus. Come clean. Reveal who you really are and your location with proof that you are who you claim, or forever be doubted. We’ve had decades to learn that those hiding behind sock-puppet names must not be trusted. And one of a troll’s tactics is to insult and cast doubt on their target’s credibility while having none because they are using a fake name.
My goodness, ‘Lloyd’! As I’ve explained (I think), it’s common for dishonest people to ‘project’ their mindset onto everyone else. I found this to be true in my various schools, but also as manager of my local farmer’s market. And, so, your attempt to frame me as dishonest actually points the finger back at you, doesn’t it?
The topic of this post is about the a 33-year-old woman that insinuated herself into the inner circle at Mar-A-Lago, posing as a member of the famed Rothschild family. She used fake identity papers. She played golf with Trump and Lindsay Graham.
A year before the FBI’s spectacular raid of the former president’s seaside home, that woman whose real name is Inna Yashchyshyn, a Russian-speaking immigrant from Ukraine, made several trips into the estate posing as a member of the famous family while making inroads with some of the former president’s key supporters.
Since I pointed out that she might be a mole working for Russia’s brutal dictator (ras)Putin and you mentioned she was Ukrainian, all you’ve done is attempt to paint me as the bad guy here that can’t be trusted. Not once have you mentioned the link leading to evidence that there are Russian speaking Ukrainians that are loyal to Russia and its leader, brutal dictator (ras)Putin.
Returning to Inna Yashchyshen, who mysteriously appeared at Mar-a-Lago with false papers pretending to be someone she wasn’t, after Traitor Trump left the White House and while the confidential material the traitor stole from the White House was still with him.
This link leads to is a list of Ukrainians, who led Russian-majority Soviet Empire before it collapsed. Proof that their are still Russian speaking Ukrainians that are loyal to Russia and not the country of their birth. Ukraine became a member of the Soviet Union in 1922. Before that, the country struggled for centuries to be free of foreign rule, sometimes successfully but often not.
Ukraine wouldn’t be an independent state/country again until 1991. in 2001, Ukraine’s population was made up of:
77.8% Ukrainians
17.3% Russians
4.9% Others
https://www.trtworld.com/magazine/how-ukrainian-origin-leaders-dominated-the-soviet-union-53932
And you are still hiding behind a sock puppet name, making all kinds of claims that you are someone you might not be, while providing no valid evidence of who you area or that Inna Yashchyshen isn’t a Russian agent/mole sent to gain access to that treasure trove of sensitive confidential material that the Traitor Trump took with him illegally when he left the White House.
That is the topic here. Not you turning the topic to me “attempting to frame” you as you claim your innocence and still hide behind a sock puppet name.
Your comments in this thread match what other Trolls do all the time. Switch topics and attempt to discredit someone that probably is close to the truth than your alleged master (Trump and/or rasPutin) wants anyone to think.
I still think the circumstantial evidence paints a powerful picture of Inna Yashchyshyn as a mole sent to Trump by his Russian master rasPutin to copy as much of that sensitive evidence as possible before the feds came for it. Her cover was to pose as a member of the famed Rothschild family using fake identity papers. Those fake identity papers must have been really good to get past the Secret Service detail that protects Traitor Trump. Allegedly, only another country with a powerful intelligence agency like Russia does could produce fake identity papers that could pull that off.
Way to ‘double down’, again… claiming I’m dishonest. What do you care what I choose as a screen name? Perhaps you really are ‘Lloyd Lofthouse’, or perhaps you’re a CIA troll. It really doesn’t matter. What you SAY is the important thing. Dianne knows my email address and (as a result) my identity.
Again, the topic of this post is a 33-year-old woman that insinuated herself into the inner circle at Mar-A-Lago, posing as a member of the famed Rothschild family. She used fake identity papers. She played golf with Trump and Lindsay Graham. This fake turned out to be Inna Yashchyshyn, a Russian-speaking immigrant from Ukraine, pretending to be Anna de Rothschild who wore expense designer clothes, a Rolex watch, and drove a $170,000 black Mercedes-Benz SUV.
Where did the money come from that funded Inna’s operation to infiltrate Trump’s inner circle? And who created the fake identity papers that were good enough to get past the Secret Service?
This post isn’t about Lloyd Lofthouse proving he is who he is or the apparent Troll calling him/herself Daedalus, that keeps changing the topic from Inna Yashchushen and her alleged rasPutin and/or theofascist MAGA masters.
An ‘apparent troll’? How do you get that? You are determined to attack the messenger in order to demean the message, aren’t you?
Who knows who ‘Lloyd’ is, actually. I will say, however, that ‘psychological projection’ is a powerful human urge. Calling someone else a ‘troll’, therefore, implicates the caller. at least as much as the callee.
I’ve lost rack of how many times I’ve attempted to get back on the topic of this post that’s about the a 33-year-old woman that insinuated herself into the inner circle at Mar-A-Lago, posing as a member of the famed Rothschild family.
Since I pointed out that she might be a mole working for Russia’s brutal dictator (ras)Putin and an alleged troll (not that I think he/she is anything but a troll) named Daedalus mentioned she was Ukrainian, all Daedalus has done is change the topic, something trolls do all the time.
So, every time Daedalus alleges I’m not who I am, as he/she continues to hide behind a fake name and I don’t no matter what Daedalus says, I will return to Inna Yashchyshen, who mysteriously appeared at Mar-a-Lago with false papers pretending to be someone she wasn’t, after Traitor Trump left the White House and while the confidential material the traitor stole from the White House was still with the traitor.
Gosh, your name-calling never ends.
Let me say that your own ‘education’ (assuming you are not writing under an assumed name) indicates that you were subject to ‘hazing’ on a rather grand scale (Marine?), which installed an attitude of superiority (the whole purpose of the exercise). You need to overcome that programming in order to join the rest of humanity. It will not be easy.
I haven’t read your novel (Concubine), assuming you aren’t a ‘sock puppet’. As I said, ‘projection’ is a real and powerful human tendency, so perhaps you are a ‘troll’. How can I tell? How could you tell if I assumed another screen name ? Perhaps I’m ‘Tom Cruse’.
As I’ve said before (to that person I think is a Troll — I have a legal right to an opinion and no one else has to agree with me.), the topic of this post is a 33 year old woman that insinuated herself into the inner circle at Mar-A-Lago after Traitor Trump stores his stolen state secrets from the White House. She posed as a member of the famed Rothschild family. She used fake identity papers. She played golf with Trump and Lindsay Graham. Anna de Rothschild boasted of her family roots to the European banking dynasty, donning designer clothes, a Rolex watch, and driving a $170,000 black Mercedes-Benz SUV.
She talked about developing a sprawling luxury housing project on Emerald Bay in the Bahamas, a high-rise hotel in Monaco, and a Formula One race track in Miami, say people who knew her.
Was she another con/fraud like Traitor Trump boldly trying to steal from him, or an agent sent by Traitor Trump’s master, Russia’s leader, the brutal dictator rasPutin.
Stick to the topic, Troll!
First, let me note that the definition of a ‘troll’ includes one who cannot stop obsessing (at least in my dictionary). And another characteristic is that they cannot stop calling names. I would invite readers to examine the entire body of my interaction with Lloyd and ask, “Who’s the ‘troll’?”
When reviewing that archive, consider the torrent of ad-hominen vitriol poured out as an ‘argument’. First, I was a ‘Russian bot’, then a ‘sock puppet’. Next, I was a fake, and a dishonest one, at that. Then, there’s the attempt to ignore me and ‘talk behind my back’. All of these are rhetorical tricks, and in the old days, ‘rhetoric’ was only allow to be taught to those who had a good ‘ethical’ background.
Now, I would expect this type of attack from a bully on the Elementary School playground, and if I were an elementary school teacher, I would call a parental conference and make it known that a repeat performance would result in the isolation of the perpetrator during recess in the future.
However, I taught in High School. I coached, as well. And, all of my ‘teams’ knew that I would not tolerate the divisiveness that ‘name calling’ and ‘ostracism’ could inflict upon our drive to succeed as a community. I didn’t have to call a ‘parent conference’. My charges understood me from my opening meeting. We were, as a result, pretty successful
So, finding this behavior on a blog for teachers is a bit of a shock. I consider such tactics to by ‘juvenile’, to say the least. Please do go back and review the progression (from directly attacking the messenger, rather than addressing the message, throwing a spate of ‘name calling’, and on into an invitation to ostracize someone, including the latest phase of not even mentioning my screen name). This history is instructive, and you need to be aware so you can recognize the phases in the future.
I am not going to go on the defensive because of my personal opinion that the Sock-Puppet known as Daedalus is a troll. The freedom to have opinions hasn’t been taken away from us… yet.
Instead, let’s all of us, not just the troll, focus on the topic of this post and not get distracted from the facts that are painting a bloody trail from Trumpistan in Florida to Traitor Trump’s master rasPutin in Russia.
I think there is interesting circumstantial evidence that may offer proof that Traitor Trump’s theft of classified documents has led to the mysterious deaths of 7 (or more) Russian oligarchs that may have been assets working for the CIA.
ONE: Trump left the White House in January 2021, with the stolen classified documents.
TWO: Several times during 2021, Inna Yashchyshyn, a Russian speaking Ukrainian immigrant, with fake documents calming to be a member of the Rothschild banking family, easily gained access to former President Donald Trump’s inner circle at Mar-a-Lago.
https://www.timesofisrael.com/fbi-probes-ukrainian-born-heiress-who-posed-as-rothschild-gained-access-to-trump/
THREE: Seven (and maybe more) powerful, wealthy Russian Oligarchs (and sometimes family members) were murdered mysteriously during 2022.
https://www.newsweek.com/alexander-subbotin-7th-russian-oligarch-mysteriously-die-this-year-1705164
Only the CIA knows who the foreign assets it uses to gather information on the enemies of the United States are, unless they’ve shared that list with the DOJ investigating Traitor Trump’s theft of classified documents.
I wonder if any foreign CIA assists in Iran, China, and North Korea have recently vanished or been mysteriously murdered/died, too.
Lloyd! you just can’t stop name-calling, can you? Talk about obsessive! Wow!
I may agree with you on several points, however your approach guarantees that you will never find me in your coalition. Do you even understand the meaning of ‘coalition’? You certainly don’t have the skill to develop one. On the other hand, narcissists don’t want to cooperate but (like playground bullies) demand the center stage. Sad.
Lloyd thinks Daedalus is using what’s known as a sock puppet name to hide his trolling from the world so his victims won’t discover who this troll really is.
But Lloyd thinking the evidence is overwhelming that Daedalus is a troll supporting or working for Traitor Trump, and/or Russia’s rasPutin isn’t important.
I think what’s important is the topic of this post, and an interesting comment left yesterday in this thread that I’m copying and pasting here to point out evidence provided by another individual that offers more evidence why Lloyd thinks Daedalus is a troll.

I noticed that when Diane Ravitch praised Amy Frogge, Daedalus changed the subject.
Daedalus’ posts reveal quite a bit about the folks that Daedalus admires (Putin) and those he doesn’t (Zelensky).
I also find that Daedalus is constantly making ugly attacks against New Yorkers, and then plays victim by lying and pretending folks here say nasty things about southerners. (patently untrue, and many of the most admired commenters are from the south.)
What is true is that people are criticized for their views. Daedalus constantly attacks Ukraine for 70 year old crimes while he defends Putin’s CURRENT atrocities.
Daedalus, if we were hypocrites like you, we would tell you that it is important to demonize the south like you demonize the Ukrainian people because we all know the ugly history of segregation and watched the videos of how southerners set the dogs on peaceful civil rights marchers in the 1950s and 60s. Given you seem to believe Ukraine’s WWII history allows you to demonize them, I assume you believe the south’s ugly history in the 1950s and 60s allows you to demonize them as well.
The rest of us are focused on making the PRESENT better, not excusing the PRESENT atrocities by invoking something from 75 years ago.
Trying to claim the mantle of victimhood for white southerners sounds a lot like the Ku Klux Klan and other racist organizations that have seen a rise since Trump encouraged them to feel self-righteous in their supposed “victimhood”.
Then there is also the topic of this thread’s post that Lloyd thinks Daedalus the troll is working hard to divert attention away from, and I keep asking why Daedalus the troll doesn’t want to focus on that topic?.
I was almost certain you would respond (trolls are predictable). I’m glad that you did, because I think we need to review a bit of history for our readers.
My initial comment (regarding the Mar-a lago foreigner) was that “She was Ukrainian”. This was a totally true statement, however you chose to use my input to launch a personal attack upon me. (Readers cah check back). You left a ‘paper trail’, dude.
One question is ‘Why?’ Why would you use a perfectly valid simple statement of fact to launch a smear attack upon the person who posted it? Seems a bit odd, doesn’t it? And, of course, you continue that effort (sock puppet, Putin whatever, smear, smear, smear).
So, why was my pointing out that the Mar a Lago infiltrator was a Ukrainian so offensive to you that it led to your rather hideous attempt to smear me?
Could it be that you are involved in CIA propaganda? What other possibility could you suggest? Are you simply a nasty narcissistic person who cannot abide an idea that you didn’t create? Please, enlighten me ‘Lloyd’, why you find a statement of fact so offensive that you would try to demean an isolate the messenger in order to depress the rather simple (and undeniable) message? Or, is it something else?
Just another comment. It was YOU who called me a Russian troll. Don’t try to deflect. You made the accusation. You are responsible. What will you do when you prove to be wrong? Are Marines ever wrong? Can they ever admit responsibility when they are? It’s not the Military Way, is it? You have been trained (brainwashed) into thinking that you are a superior being.
Some Viet Vets now know that they have been severely damaged by their brainwashing and are trying to move into normal society. Are you?
Now, I think you might be so inclined. However, calling people ‘Russian trolls’ because they disagree with you indicates you have a long way to go.
Name calling simply proves you to be almost vacuous. You must have really been fun on the grade school playground.
Try to address the content, and not demean the person delivering the content. It will make you seem to be more of an adult (my advise as a former teacher).
Trolls always attempt to change and control the narrative in a post like this one. That’s what Daedalus keeps doing, not Lloyd. Trolls also attack anyone that’s saying what they don’t want others to read or hear, for whatever reason
Again, that is what Daedalus keeps doing.
At this point, if Daedalus went on a reputable TV news broadcast in person and offered proof that he/she was everything Daedalus claims to be, I still wouldn’t trust Daedalus, because the traitor’s loyalist MAGA minions live in every state and rasPutin also has agents in the US doing his bidding.

There are many wonderful people in Tennessee. Check out Amy Frogge, my dear friend, who used to be on the Nashville school board and is now executive director of Pastors for Tennessee Children. But the elected leadership of the state is evangelical Christian and wants to force their religious views on everyone. I am Jewish. I don’t want to live in a society controlled by evangelicals. I don’t force my values on them.
True, there are many fine people in Tennessee. In fact, in American Literature and Music, on a per-capita basis, the American South has had a leadership role.
Yet, I found as I moved North, and then East, it was fashionable among those ‘up there’ to to assume people from the South were not as ‘brilliant’. I think this odd phenomenon is due to several factors. First, there is still Civil War residue (New York City supported the South, but forgot about it when it became convenient to do so), but later the Big Cities needed food, fuel and building materials which they took from the South without any equal payback. The only way to do that is to pretend that the people you are stealing from are inferior. It’s a common pattern, isn’t it?
Another way of measuring differences is by the civic intelligence of voters. Which states pass laws banning the teaching of racism? Which enact laws banning discussions of gender identity? Which demonize minority groups? Which ban books? Which ban abortion rights? How do southern states measure up? I’m from Texas and I’m embarrassed by the people who lead my home state.
OK. You’re saying we who live in the South are stupid. You are making my point. And all of this to prop up Lloyd.
When you pit one State against another, or one region against another, you are destroying the integrity of the United States. Perhaps you wish to break apart our current ‘union’? If so, I suggest you consider the consequences.
stupid is as stupid votes …
And, how did I vote, Jon?
New York voted for Rudy Giuliani. New Jersey for a few others (Whitman, the fat Bridgegate guy).
As you know, the ‘vote’ is rigged in several ways. Gerrymandering, of course, but the mere existence of ‘senates’ gives undue power to small populations (like the ‘rotten boroughs’ of old). AND, Tennessee has voting machines from ‘elsewhere’ that don’t leave a paper trail behind. AND, add in voter suppression (various forms). So, how do you know what the vote really was? Add in the fact that many people don’t even bother to vote because they don’t like the choices they are offered.
And, how do you like the endless wars with China and Russia and Syria, and the Taliban? Kinda reminds you of Orwell’s ‘1984’, eh? Makes you feel ‘smart’ that you voted for Biden? Wasn’t his pick of Blinken a great choice? And, why is the corporate POS still in charge of the Post Office?
How a State ‘votes’, Jon, is not a measure of intelligence.
I noticed that when Diane Ravitch praised Amy Frogge, Daedalus changed the subject.

PS – we are in an endless war with China??? Is this guy a teacher? Armchair warriors who have no idea what a war is.
Maybe she has other talents?
She may have “other talents,” but why the fake passport, the $170,000 car, etc.?
Probably something benign, for example vetting the top secret documents for Putin, btw, an excellent movie plot ..
You mean like heirdressing?
Or heirsplitting?
Or both?
Oddly enough, few people are easier to con than a conman.
Birds of a feather stick together.
This is the third – that we know of. Secret Service knew how bad the security was/is at MAL. And since TFG loves to have people crowd around him, he allowed these breeches. Just like the comment he made at the ellipse on Jan 6 to allow everyone in even those with weapons.
How did she get a fake passport?
If I had to guess, I’d say “based on heiressay”
This just goes to show that you should never trust heiressay.
Heiressay
Heiressay’s unreliable
It’s really undeniable
That heiressay is liable
To make a person buyable
Perhaps the US needs a security review and review and revise the policy regarding taking classified documents off-site. If they allow it at all, there should be a guard or secret service agent that stays with the documents until they are returned to a more secure location. They could also prohibit documents from leaving The White House or other agencies that handle classified documents.
As a teacher, I was never allowed to bring home student records. I could check them in the school office, but never leave the building with them. Records are sensitive documents that could get lost, stolen or damaged, if they left the building. Classified documents need to be handled with the greatest of care and discretion as they have the potential to harm to the country and people, if they get in the wrong hands. The US needs to do better.
It would be very difficult to do any worse.
This is hardly the first “breach” of security. A while back, it was discovered that there was Russian malware installed in the software of a company (Solar winds) that was supposed to be providing security for government and corporations.
Really makes you wonder if anyone working on security has a single clue.
I don’t know who paid for Anna de R’s car, watch, clothes, but it shows how easy it is to penetrate DT’s inner circle. I’ll bet she learned a lot. Those Trumpets aren’t exactly discreet. By the way, my poodle is named Ruby Rothschild and I don’t get invited to Mar A Lago.
Have you tried applying?
Ha! My dog is such a natural aristocrat she fits in anywhere, from poorhouse to palace. I would need some redecorating. A blonde wig, a fake tan, a St. John knit suit? A facelift? Borrowed jewelry? I could tell the gatekeepers I own a chain of massage parlors like that spy from China did! What would I do when I got there? That is the question. Take embarrassing videos? These awful people are beyond shame.
Have you considered sending your poodle to an heirdresser?
Or maybe an heirBAndB (bath and brushing)
Great idea!
Mar-a-Lago has had compromised security from the get go. Pro Publica sent out a couple of reporters out in a boat on the intracoastal waterway behind the club in May of 2017 and easily accessed the wi-fi networks there, as well as at Bedminster, Trump International in DC and the golf club in Sterling VA.
Were any of theses properties upgraded to protect the nation’s security or not? Trump seems to have compromised or infiltrated so much of our protective apparatus, it seems deliberate.
The risks posed by the lax security, experts say, go well beyond simple digital snooping. Sophisticated attackers could take advantage of vulnerabilities in the Wi-Fi networks to take over devices like computers or smart phones and use them to record conversations involving anyone on the premises.
“Those networks all have to be crawling with foreign intruders, not just ProPublica,” said Dave Aitel, chief executive officer of Immunity, Inc., a digital security company, when we told him what we found.
Security lapses are not uncommon in the hospitality industry, which — like most industries and government agencies — is under increasing attack from hackers. But they are more worrisome in places where the president of the United States, heads of state and public officials regularly visit.

We are talking about statistical generalizations, not individual behavior, and no one hereabouts believes there’s anything like a perfect political party. But the plain fact is every vote for the GOP over the last 40 years I’ve been paying attention has contributed to the incremental at first and now dangerously near or over the tipping point of decline in the United States’ status as an advanced, benign, civil, developed, educated society. This is true East and West, North and South, but the preponderance of the demise lies anywhere the GOP has gerrymandered and jurypandered itself into power. And Dat’s Da Truth.
You and I may agree. However, your former comment was rather pointed. We in the South have been beaten upon so much as to become just a bit sensitive.
The ‘GOP’ is, first of all, not that old. Secondly, ‘Abe’ must be spinning in his grave. This is the Party of Newt (and whoever controlled Reagan).
Ohio and Indiana voted for Trump. Why not attack them? Indiana is KKK central. Why not call them to account? Wisconsin is a mess, and so is Michigan. Pennsylvania is up for grabs. Let’s not even move to the west. ‘Stupidity ‘ seems to be creeping northward, and eastward, doesn’t it?
This Ex Texican was born on a U.S. Army base in Japan, transported to another in Alabama, then back to the Lone Star State with my Dad and Mom, a Texas Methodist and a New York Catholic, where I spent most of my youth and got most of my public school education, aside from brief stints in New Mexico at one parochial and one military school — all of this back in the thrilling days of yesteryear when Texas was still a Thank-Our-Lucky-Star-For-FDR democratic state. So I come honest by all my evident southern charm, my exposure to cultural diversity, not to mention the culture shock I gradually if rarely gracefully absorbed in my second and third lives North.
To be continued tomorrow, maybe, WordPress is giving me trouble staying logged in …
You appear to have a rather ‘mixed’ childhood. In some respects, that’s a benefit (exposed to many different points of view). On the other hand, your ‘military’ background and short stints here and there rather stunts that endeavor. So, like most of us, Jon, you understand that you (personally) don’t have a complete picture, which is why we need to listen, rather than exclude.

Diane Ravitch, why would someone like YOU perpetuate the misinformation re the court-sanctioned SEARCH at MAL. By continuing to call it a “raid”, you feed the frenzied mass that grows and threatens to tear our nation apart.
I frankly don’t care if the FBI conducted a “search” or a “raid.” It was authorized by a court and found top-secret documents that were not and cannot be declassified. If you think I’m soft on the con-man, you haven’t been reading here often.
Wow, I really wish you’d read my brief comment. As a journalist, you have an obligation to include facts–not sensationalism–in your writing, and the word “raid” is the only way Trumpers describe the SEARCH.
I am not a journalist. I am a historian of education.
I don’t give a hoot how the right-wingers try to capture the plain meaning of words, like demonizing the word “WOKE.” I am woke. People who are not “woke” are asleep. How can you go through life without being awake?
I don’t let Trumpers capture the words I use.
The FBI came to Mar-a-Lago with a search warrant approved by a judge, based on evidence.
Whether it was a “raid” or a “search” matters not.
They got what they came for: evidence that he was hiding documents that belonged to the U.S. government, not to him.
Under no circumstances should he have removed Top Secret documents from the White House, including some that could be read only in a secure room. How he got them out of there should be investigated.
