A reader of the blog who calls herself “CarolMalaysia” has compiled some of the many statements made by Donald Trump about his successes.
She writes:
The Dotard knows exactly how wonderful he is. [Read this before eating. Nobody should throw up on a full stomach.] Trump’s favorite word is, “I”.
…………………………………………………
LIKE A SMART PERSON
“You know, I’m, like, a smart person.” “I am a really smart guy.” “I’ve been known as being a very smart guy for a long time.” “I have a very good brain and I’ve said a lot of things.” “I’m intelligent. Some people would say I’m very, very, very intelligent.” “And then people say oh, is he a smart person? I’m smarter than all of them put together, but they can’t admit it.” “My IQ is one of the highest — and you all know it! Please don’t feel so stupid or insecure; it’s not your fault.” “My two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart…. I went from VERY successful businessman, to top T.V. Star, to President of the United States (on my first try). I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius….and a very stable genius at that!”
A GREAT ATHLETE
“I was the best baseball player in New York when I was young.” “I always knew I was good. I was always good at it. I was the best athlete.” “I was always the best athlete, people don’t know that.” “I’ve won many club championships and I was always the best athlete.” “Always the best player. Not only baseball, but every other sport too.” “I was good at wrestling. I was really good at football. I was always good at sports. I was always the best at sports.” “I had it [innate ability]. I always had it.” “I like being a great athlete.”
ATTRACTIVE
“My fingers are long and beautiful, as, it has been well documented, are various other parts of my body.” “All of the women on The Apprentice flirted with me – consciously or unconsciously. That’s to be expected.” “I’m so good looking.” “I feel like a supermodel except, like, times 10, OK? It’s true. I’m a supermodel.” “Do I look a president? How handsome am I, right? How handsome?”
RICH AND SUCCESSFUL
“The beauty of me is that I’m very rich.” “I have made myself very rich.” “I was always the best at what I did.” “I don’t think I’ve made mistakes.” “Everything I’ve done virtually has been a tremendous success.” “I was successful, successful, successful.” “I’m the most successful person ever to run for the presidency, by far. Nobody’s ever been more successful than me.” “I’ve been, you know, pretty successful in the courts over the years, I’ve been a very successful person, you can check — USA Today said, ‘he does great in the courts’ OK?” “If you don’t tell people about your success, they probably won’t know about it.”
A NICE PERSON WITH GREAT TEMPERAMENT
“I had some beautiful pictures taken in which I had a big smile on my face. I looked happy, I looked content, I looked like a very nice person, which in theory I am.” “I think I am a nice person.” “I’m actually a nice person.” “I have a strong temperament.” “I think I have a great temperament.” “I have a great temperament. My temperament is very good, very calm.” “I think I’m a sober person… I’m a very sober person.”
RAN A FLAWLESS CAMPAIGN
“I’ve had a beautiful, I’ve had a flawless campaign.” “I won an election that should never be won, because the Electoral College is far harder to win than the popular vote. The popular vote, for me, would have been much easier.”
MOST RESPECTFUL OF WOMEN AND ‘THE BLACKS’
“I have more respect for women by far than Hillary Clinton has.” “Nobody respects women more than me.” “I was the one that really broke the glass ceiling on behalf of women more than anybody in the construction industry.” “There’s nobody who has done more for equality than I have.” “Number one, I am the least anti-Semitic person that you’ve ever seen in your entire life. Number two, racism, the least racist person.” “I am the least racist person that you have ever met.” “I am the least racist person that you’ve ever encountered.” “I am the least racist person, the least racist person that you’ve ever seen, the least.” “I have a great relationship with the blacks.” “I have a great relationship with African Americans, as you possibly have heard. I just have great respect for them. And they like me. I like them.” “And did you know my name is in more black songs than any other name in hip-hop? Black entertainers love Donald Trump.” “And at the end of four years, I guarantee you, that I will get over ninety-five percent of the African-American vote. I promise you.”
MULTI-TALENTED & KNOWLEDGEABLE
“I build the best buildings.” “Nobody builds walls better than me.” “I created maybe the greatest brand.” “Trump Steaks are the world’s greatest steaks.” “I have the best [golf] courses in the world.” “My Twitter has become so powerful that I can actually make my enemies tell the truth.” “I know all about knives and belt buckles.” “And I know more about wedges than any human being that’s ever lived.” “I know more about [campaign] contributions than anybody.” “Nobody has better toys than I do.” “Nobody loves the Bible better than I do.” “I’m the king of debt. I know the H2B. Nobody knows it better than me.” “I know the best people.” “I know the smartest negotiators in the world. I know the good ones. I know the bad ones. I know the overrated ones.” “I’m really good at war.” “I know more about ISIS than the generals do. Believe me.” “Nobody would be tougher on ISIS than Donald Trump.” “Nobody is bigger or better at the military than I am.” “I know more about offense and defense than they will ever understand.” “There’s nobody that understands the horror of nuclear better than me.” “Nobody is fighting for the veterans like I’m fighting for the veterans.” “Nobody’s better to people with disabilities than me.” “There’s nobody more pro-Israel than I am.” “Nobody knows jobs like I do!” “Nobody knows politicians better than I do.” “Nobody knows the game better than I do.” “Nobody knows the system better than me, which is why I alone can fix it.” “Nobody in the history of this country has ever known so much about infrastructure as Donald Trump.” “I know more about renewables than any human being on Earth.” “Nobody’s ever had crowds like [I’ve] had.” “Nobody can do it like me. Nobody. Nobody can do it like me, honestly.” “Nobody is stronger than me.” “It’s all because of me.” “I know words. I have the best words.”
MODEST
“I think I am actually humble. I think I’m much more humble than you would understand.”
– Donald Trump
Hahahahahaha …. what a riot.
Here’s what a true stable genius is
Good one. Trump doesn’t deserve a stable, send him out to pasture.
Gee, I wonder why these 81 Nobel Laureates endorse Joe Biden for potus and NOT that dumpster.

Special…lol
I must admit I am growing tired of trying to figure out the pathology that is Trump. The man is damaged, and the damage is increasingly more paranoid. His most recent irrational rant is that Biden is controlled by dark forces by thugs dressed black on an airplane. I cannot even find words to comment on such wacko, unhinged ramblings.
If Trump was such as great athlete, why wasn’t he on the Yankees baseball team? With such great athletic prowess, he should have joined the military. Instead, he got multiple deferments for the best ‘bone spurs’ money can buy.
Enough of this fascist tyrant that has sucked the oxygen out of our country. Biden and Harris need to craft a shrewd campaign. In addition to going to the Midwest, they need to make an appearance in St Louis, Houston and Dallas. Polls are showing that there is a chance to take these, and they need the black vote in the cities to do it. Texas would be a major prize. Beto has been going all over Texas to drum up vote for Democratic candidates. Democrats need to show that they care about the people in these states.
” Biden and Harris need to craft a shrewd campaign. ”
These ramblings would make a great campaign ad for Biden and Kamala, perhaps courtesy of the Lincoln project.
I believe he has a medical condition that is exacerbating his existing psychological problems. Lewy Body Dementia. He has all the signs…..paranoia, hallucinations, hand tremors, changes in gait. This could be the reason for the unexplained hospital visit in Nov 2019.
A Shrewed campaign
A campaign that’s shrewed
With shrews all reviewin’
Will clearly conclude
With naught but a shrew-in
Here’s what a shrewed campaign looks like
Biden and the Democrats should take note
A shrewed campaign along the campaign t(r)ail
And when they all ducked into the pipe, that was what is known in the lingo as a shrew-in
I never knew
About the shrew
But now I do
And so do you
Thanks for the smile which I just read is as mood lifting as eating chocolate, and it has no calories.
I love it when the mother shrew ducks into the pipe leaving the last couple offspring (shrewspring?) exposed to be picked off !
Not good to be at the end of that line.
Unhinge yourself from truth, and you can be anything you want. CBK
I don’t understand the many Trump posts here. ☹️
Mine was certainly a complement to stable geniuses.
Compliment too
You ask, “why”. I ask, “why not?”.
Eddie,
Trump and DeVos are trying to destroy and eliminate public education. Does that explain why they matter here?
We have seven to eight weeks to get rid of this destructive duo. That is why the next few weeks are crucial. Public schools cannot continue to be on the chopping block. Democratic candidates need to campaign hard anywhere they can establish a foothold. We need to pull this country out of its right wing dead end, and the antidote is voting, lots of voting. Time is of the essence.

Thank you, Diane, for putting this together!! [I had no idea that I was such a good writer.] It is a riot!
Thanks, CarolM for years of dogged digging!
I think we should stop giving time to this idiot. He is all over Corporate Media. He is all over every alternative news site and blog. Why is this deadly dunce receiving so much free publicity? The result of his regime is death, infection and destruction wherever we look. It will be hand-to-hand combat removing him from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and it will take real courage and endurance to begin cleaning up the rubble that he and his henchmen leaves behind all over the USA. There is no humor in any of this, just tragedy and heartbreak that we have sunk so low. A salute to those fighting back against his tyranny. Activism does not advertise his duplicity and stupidity ad naseaum.
Any “free” publicity it gets for Trump’s stupidity is a campaign ad for Biden. It is really hard to read a compilation of Trumpian prose like this one and not wonder how anyone can vote for the man. Maybe a few more knee jerk Republicans will notice that he looks nothing like the Republican party they voted for fifty years ago, Vietnam warts and all.
I agree. 😐✔️
I agree with Kathy Irwin I. 🙂
Eddie,
No one forces you to read about Trump or to watch him on TV.
He is a publicity hog; he creates chaos in order to be at the center of our attention.
But he wields immense power as president and we can’t pretend he doesn’t exist.
I wish I could.
He gets a lot of attention because he is the president of the United States. He makes decisions that affect our lives and our future. I wish we could completely ignore him. He would continue to destroy our society with no pushback
Every network gives him far too much exposure, even for his crazy rants. At least some of them now have the courage to preface their comments with words like “unfounded allegations.”
We need Biden and Harris getting attention for reaching out key demographics like communities of color and young people and battleground geography like the Midwest. Democrats must have to audacity to campaign in Texas. We need to energize the poor, the young and progressive people there.
The more repulsive Trump is shown to be, the harder it is for his supporters to defend their votes for him. A Trump supporter wears a badge of dishonor. It makes him/her visible as a threat to decent people.
Nothing would please those like Patriot Prayer and the signers of the Manhattan Declaration, who work to get Trump elected, than to have the cover of silence while they manipulate people into thinking they speak from high moral ground.
“Trump’s success”- his daughter, who he would date if she wan’t his daughter.

some ≠ all; i.e., some religious leaders ≠ all religious leaders or even a majority thereof; some means some and that is irrefutable

For a person to hear rationale thought, he/she has to be receptive.
It explains why I don’t engage on a personal level regardless of the provocation.
What you write informs. Thanks for your comments on all subjects and in all threads (especially the links to music).
Btw- 500 faith leaders signed a letter supporting Biden. I don’t know the ratio of those asked and signed vs. those who refused. I don’t know the relative representation of various faiths, the ranking in chain of command, etc.
Linda This is a very public forum. Dropping isolated abstractions out of thin air, that only fit the writer’s bias, is “bent” and far from rational OR reasonable. Your post is just another version of the omissions and one-sided points that Fox News is so famous for. That you don’t seem to know it only adds a sadness to it. But as with so many of your other notes, it doesn’t even pass the logical smell test.
Also, you have written personally to me–when you accused me of “following” the authority-leader (Diane) like all follower-Catholics do. So get off your high horse, please. CBK

To the cosmos, I ask, “all follower Catholics follow the authority leader, Diane”, does that sound like anything I would say?

…The entirety of the Scalise video painted a bleak picture of the country, with cleverly spliced scenes designed to make major cities look like places of anarchy and violent chaos. That’s already disingenuous; protesters demanding an end to centuries of racial violence have largely been peaceful. But what made it so remarkable wasn’t just that Scalise twisted the truth about Black Lives Matter. His video went a step further, altering a question I had asked Biden about law enforcement to make it sound as though Biden had agreed to defund the police. I’m in favor of defunding the police, so I wish that were the case. But Biden has been clear that isn’t his position…
https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/09/02/ady-barkan-op-ed-scalise-video/
Some observers believe that Scalise relies on religious tribalism to be elected in Louisiana. Some believe McConnell’s hiring of Nick Sandmann in Kentucky reflects the same.
A website that “defends the Goodness, Truth and Beauty” of a specific religion, posted, there is a “crisis of masculinity in the world and Church”. The site then describes the most recent promotional video for the world’s largest lay organization. The video, “affirms there is a masculinity crisis”. Then, the site laments the video’s suggestion that power tools and shooting guns is the remedy to the “crisis”.
I lament a view that reframes loss of entitlement as a “masculinity crisis”.
Scalise graduated from a racist, indoctrinating all boys Catholic high school that is a subsidiary of its football team. Went to LSU, which Randy Newman noted in Rednecks the “college men went in dumb, come out dumb too.” There is a strong strain of hate and white entitlement in his DNA.
Yep- Greg.
Scalise’s fellow congressman from Louisiana, Clay Higgins, a Christian, reportedly had a Facebook post taken down today, “armed
protestors should face lethal force.”
Higgins was described in 2018 as owing child support to his second wife. He apologized for the insensitivity of a video he shot at a Nazi gas chamber and retracted it.
Higgins attended LSU.
How do the pest control people at the Whiter House tell the difference between roaches and members of the administration?
I’m sorry. That comment went too far.
Roaches are harmful, yes, but they aren’t nearly as harmful to people, generally, as are members of the Trump administration.
Thank you, Carol and Diane, for this compendium of the best unintentional comedy from the guy in the orange clown makeup.
Donald Eek Thinly Skin Always Laying Trump lies about his lies.
Take a gander at what the Bible says about “Praising Oneself”. If Trump’s base that calls themselves Christians actually read the Bible, they wouldn’t be anywhere near this walking mutated terminal human cancer. No, any Christians that vote for trump are fake Christians.
Proverbs 27:2 ESV
“Let another praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips.”
No, anyone that votes for Trump is a Christian in name only. The Bible has passages about these dangerous fakes, too.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15 ESV
“For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.”
NOTE: I found these quotes by searching Open Bible online. The day Trump and his followers meet their maker, they are so despicable they will have to be chopped up into nine parts and divided between all nine levels of Dante’s description of Hell.
CarolMalaysia deserves a long rest from Trump after compiling this list. Vote him gone.
The founder of Patriot Prayer was photographed at a rally wearing a t-shirt imprinted with Psalm 31. Humility and being God’s chosen to champion Trump is an oxymoron.

Trump has responded to the Atlantic article. Of course he NEVER said that Americans who died at war are losers and suckers.

Trump suggests voting twice, once by mail and once in person
September 2, 2020 at 7:38 p.m. CDT
President Trump, on Wednesday during a trip in battleground North Carolina, urged voters to vote twice, once by mail and once in person, to test the protections intended to guard against double voting.
Trump, who has claimed the 2020 election will be rife with fraud and rigged against him, was asked by a local television reporter whether he had confidence in the vote-by-mail system.
“Let them send it in and let them go vote, and if their system’s as good as they say it is, then obviously they won’t be able to vote. If it isn’t tabulated, they’ll be able to vote,” Trump said.
Intentionally voting twice is illegal, and in many states, including North Carolina, it is a felony…
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/trump-vote-twice-wilmington/2020/09/02/d5633260-ed73-11ea-ab4e-581edb849379_story.html
Voting twice? And this from the “law and order president”? CBK
Yep. He is our ‘law and order’ president.
CNN:
President Trump has threatened to cut federal funding to several major US cities affected by social justice protests because he says their Democratic leaders are allowing “anarchy, violence and destruction.” His threat may not be legally viable, but it certainly fits his “law and order” messaging.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo Says Trump ‘Better Have an Army’ to Show His Face in NYC
Allison Quinn

Published Sep. 03, 2020 1:17AM ET
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo let loose on President Trump late Wednesday after the president singled out New York City in a memo calling for “anarchist jurisdictions” to lose federal funding. “It’s cheap, it’s political, it’s gratuitous, and it’s illegal,” Cuomo told reporters of the president’s order for a review of funding to Democratic-led cities.
Trump accused authorities in Seattle, Portland, Washington, D.C., and New York City of enabling “crime and lawlessness” amid widespread anti-racism protests in recent months, and moved to cut off such cities from federal funding. “Everything that he could possibly do in his power to hurt New York City he has done,” Cuomo was quoted as saying by The New York Times, adding that the president “better have an army if he thinks he’s going to walk down the street in New York.”
“The best thing he did for New York City was leave. Good riddance. Let him go to Florida. Be careful not to get COVID,” Cuomo said.
Read it at The New York Times
New Tork could make a deal: New York stops paying federal taxes, and Trump withdraws federal funding.
NY is a net exporter if funding to feds. Mitch McConnell’s State is a net importer, subsidized by blue states.
Cuomo is simply using Trump’s latest tantrum as an excuse to look like he actually disagrees with Trump when many of Cuomo’s policies align quite well with Trump’s.
Personally, I’m tired of seeing BOTH their buttugly faces.
SomeDAM Don’t you want to say what you REALLY think? CBK
Come to think of it, we really should give credit where credit is due. That is, my guess is that BESIDES Trump’s embrace of fraud and corruption as a way of life, Trump didn’t know that voting twice was against the law.

………………………………
WILLIAM BARR SAYS POLICE BEING RACIST TOWARDS BLACK PEOPLE ISN’T RACISM
During an interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer yesterday, Attorney General William Barr said that it’s not necessarily racism when police repeatedly treat Black people differently than white people. When Blitzer pressed Barr to back up his statement that Black people aren’t disproportionately targeted by law enforcement, Barr said: “I think there are some situations where statistics would suggest that they are treated differently, but I don’t think that that’s necessarily racism.” The attorney general also disputed the idea that the criminal justice system treats Black people more harshly — which research broadly shows it does. [HuffPost]
Nope. No racism in this country.

carolmalaysia From now on we all probably should be ultra-aware of what could be biased electioneering. Though I cannot imagine why anyone could not have already made up their minds about whom they will vote for. Here is a relevant note from Facebook:
“Facebook will block new political advertising the week before Election Day. The social media giant plans to block new advertising the week before the presidential election — the first time the company has taken action to limit political advertising in the United States, the company said.
“The move to limit ads, part of a spate of election-related announcements the company made Thursday, is an attempt to reduce misinformation that is expected to flood social networks as Election Day draws near.” (my bold/CBK)
