This article in Reuters reports that a young man says he had an affair for several years with the wife of Jerry Falwell, Jr., president-on-leave of Liberty University, which was founded by his famous father. He told Reuters that Falwell often watched as he had relations with Falwell’s wife.
Ah, the hypocrisy of those who claim to be morally superior. The strict honor code of Liberty University forbids the relationship that is alleged: “Sexual relations outside of a biblically ordained marriage between a natural-born man and a natural-born woman are not permissible at Liberty University,” the code reads.
The article credits Falwell Jr. for persuading evangelicals to embrace the twice-divorced, licentious Donald Trump.
People who live in glass houses should not throw stones.
Karma.
Perhaps, Jerry Falwell, Jr. is another Aaron Schock! 😁
Such a surprise. LOL.
Curious how Pense’s “Mother” feels about the scandal.
Schadenfreude. You just can’t make this stuff up and it gets weirder and weirder every day.
Falwell often watched as he had relations with Falwell’s wife.”
Chauncey Gardner in Being There: ” I like to watch”
Adultery isn’t allowed at Liberty University. 😮
But it does seem to be encouraged.
Not between ” natural born” women and men at least.
Presumably if you were born by c section, it’s allowed.
People in religious houses should not share wives.
This would be a good bumper sticker.
What do they mean by “natural born”? Is a cesarian natural born?
I think what they are implying is no gay couples, no transvestites.
Transvestites just wear clothes of the opposite gender. 😐
Must be transgender people that Liberty U is afraid of.
If Falwell is the exemplar, I think there must be a typo in their official policy
“Sexual relations outside of a biblically ordained marriage between a natural-born man and a natural-born woman are not permiscuous at Liberty University.”
These are the religious nuts that we are supposed to admire? No wonder they adore Trump the Adulterer.
During the 2016 presidential election cycle, three Republican candidates brought on advisors for Christian outreach. Carson selected a former Liberty University chaplain. Rubio chose a “special faith advisor” who led the Manhattan Declaration project and, Jeb Bush brought in Jordan Sekulow who ran a law center founded by Pat Robertson.
Jared is the son of Trump advisor, Jay Sekulow.
None of the three aforementioned presidential candidates were evangelical.
Jerry Falwell Jr. presided over great wealth accumulation at Liberty University, as reported by media and boasted about by Jerry.
“Nobody” says to admire clergy. They’re just people. 😐
Giancarlo Granda Falwell

Jerry Lamon Falwell, Jr. Granda
one big happy family 😁
Jerry Falwell, Jr. expanded Liberty University.
Jerry, Sr. built it.
Evangelicals will suggest that their vote against democrats is on the basis of their moral character. Arguments that follow this line of reasoning periodically bump into reality, but the voting block passes through the Lethe, with all the sins of conservatives forgotten as a dream. So it is with mythical ideas.
The pool boy comes clean!
Not unbelievable at all
Those who act the most holy usually have something to hide. And they make rules for other people to follow, too. SICK.
