Is Jeb Bush DRUNK? Answer: YES!
That could be brewing in Florida as well.

Hmm, where have I heard this before? Privatized schools opening & closing like daylilies make for insecure students, even increases dropout rate… Every time one folds, the abandoned students increase local pubsch en masse, straining the budget…
The irony is intense. “ExcellnEd” [is that like “ToysRUs”?] wants more taxpayer dollars to “stabilize” instability-creating interlopers.
nicely summarized. The disrupters want more money to keep long years of profiteering through disruption a ‘stable’ concept
The financial impact of this pandemic may lead some states to accept vouchers to reduce the cost of education. I live in a part of Florida that is experiencing increased population growth. All the schools here are currently offering on-line in courses through the end of the school year. The superintendent has already sent a letter to parents asking if they want their children to continue with on-line learning in the fall as he would like to ease the overcrowding in the schools. I have no idea how many parents would consider on-line instruction a viable alternative because it is not equivalent education. What is clear is that the district is looking to cut costs, and many districts will be feeling the economic pinch from the pandemic.
