   Now the thinking of little man Trump has evolved into knowing that this was a pandemic all along. If he knew this and did nothing, then he is responsible for killing all those who have already died and will die in the future.

   The lying never stops. There are recordings of Trump saying things that he now said never happened.

   He needs to TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for his lousy actions for the first time in his life.

   The graduating seniors are upset here- there’s ordinarily a big round of school and community events for them and all of those will be cancelled. It’s a small thing but I feel for them- they’re really disappointed- I was surprised at how upset they are.

   I’m not ready for funny. My husband is in health care. Providers are being quarantined left and right, unable to see/treat patients and/or their families. Drastic shortage of needed supplies (face masks) to protect them. Where is the possible humor?
   Oh wait. Those service industry folks likely to lose hours or see jobs disappear…the working moms taking PTO from jobs because school is closed…the working class already stretched thin, waiting for other shoe to drop…
   Trump is beside the point right now.
   Shame on you for posting this ill-timed, insensitive, disrespectful video. There’s not a damned thing to laugh about.

   Here is some general information: Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia are on lockdown.
   The International School of Kuala Lumpur, where I worked, is closed until April.

   I couldn’t get past the first ten seconds of this lame attempt at humor. Trump never called the virus itself a hoax, he was referring to the hype. The press is fond of doing this type of thing, viz. in the case of Trump’s Charlottesville comments and the Ukrainian phone call.

   Think of it this way: as stupid as you might think Trump is, is he so stupid that he would have referred to a recognized disease as a hoax? The dumbest person in the world wouldn’t allege that.

       Would you feel better if we all agreed that Trump was the wisest, best prepared president ever and he was brilliant to fire the global pandemic team in 2018? Should we agree that is knows more than the generals, the scientists, and the doctors? After all, his uncle taught at MIT, and Donald must have inherited his genes and deep learning.

       First, why would Trump ban travel from China a month before his “hoax” comment if he thought the virus was a hoax?

       Second, any reasonable person, upon reading the “hoax” quote in context can see that Trump was referring to the Democrats’ attacks on him regarding the virus, not to the virus itself.

       Gregory, standing up for Trump is a lost cause. Read the timeline exposing all of the wasted time that is now going to cause a tremendous loss of lives and probably a million or more loss of jobs.

    This is so sad. Malaysia is a small country to have so many cases of coronavirus.

    Malaysian PM Muhyiddin says control measures could be extended if coronavirus continues to spread

    KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysian Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin has said that the movement control measures which took effect on Wednesday (March 18) could be extended past their initial two weeks if they fail to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

    In a televised broadcast on Wednesday night, the premier said that the measures were introduced so that people could avoid having to go to crowded places, where they could be exposed to the coronavirus.

    “We want to break the chain of infection. So that we can reduce the number of people who are infected by Covid-19,” he said.

    Malaysia is the worst-affected by the virus in South-east Asia, with the number of those infected reaching 790 cases, and two deaths reported.

    The movement control order, which takes effect until March 31, bans public gatherings, and all religious, sporting, social and cultural events. Schools, universities and businesses will stay closed, but essential services such as supermarkets, banks and pharmacies will continue to operate during the two-week period.

    Travel is also restricted, with Malaysian citizens barred from travelling overseas and tourists denied entry into the country.

    Malaysia’s police have also restricted inter-state travel within the country.

    The Metra, the commuter train that runs to the suburbs from Chicago, has just announced that due to loss of riders it is now only running on an alternate weekday schedule. How in “H-E-double toothpicks” are people supposed to get to work? This includes nurses and doctors who live in the suburbs. What is wrong with this country?

    Metra will begin operating an alternate weekday schedule on Monday to adjust to the reduced number of riders due to the coronavirus pandemic.

    The alternate schedules, which can be viewed on metrarail.com, represent about half of Metra’s normal weekday service. The schedule includes changes for every line except the Heritage Corridor, which will operate its normal schedule.

    Ohhh. Dr. Fauci is stepping on the fake Dr. Donald Trump who has an uncle who went to MIT. Trump keeps making suggestions based on his own personal interpretations of science — ranging from the notion that we should attack hurricanes with nuclear weapons, windmills cause cancer and that it is perfectly fine for people who have the coronavirus to go to work
