Governor Mike Pence and the Indiana Legislature plans to strip State Superintendent Glenda Ritz of her powers toreros. She was overwhelmingly elected by the voters, receiving more votes than Gov. Pence.

I voted for Glenda and want to see her be able to do her job. She should be treated with respect! My vote and the other 1.3 million voters vote should matter! Is it legal for Gov. Pence to do what he is trying to do? What happened to the politicians represent the people? Do what is right!

The only way that Hoosiers can curtail the Fascist overthrow of Indiana is at the ballot box! Sadly, social media makes little or no impact on these thugs who are beholding to corporate interests.
Those who voted for Glenda Ritz and then turned right around and checked Mike Pence, and any one of the Inner Circle (Robert Behning, Brian Bosma, Luke Kenley, Dennis Kruse, James Buck, Phillip Boots, Michael Delph, David Long, Carlin Yoder, et al.) helped to create this cesspool. I have colleagues who voted for Ritz and then blindly supported GOP candidates based upon their beliefs over the Affordable Care Act, property taxes, reproductive rights, etc… Sorry, but at this point in time, this is a single issue in Indiana politics. It’s the survival of public education.
Friends, this the nation’s future that they are meddling in. It’s about eliminating critical thinking and replacing it with “work-ready skills” for low paying jobs. They want the gap between the 1% and the rest to further widen. Envision something akin to the socioeconomic structure of Brasil, with even more gated communities. Ladies and gentlemen, it is your livelihood and your reason for being that is at stake.
Go for it! Go ahead and tweet! Send them emails! Do letters to the editor! Just remember to put some vitriol in it! Tell them that you know who pulls their strings. Let them know that there are those who do pay attention to the kind of crap that they are trying to pull. I do!
Now is the time for the hand-wringing to cease. If you are pi$$ed off, maybe it’s time forgo the niceties. They’ve clearly shown their disdain for you already. Reciprocate!

If you stand up for democracy in Indiana and its children, stand up for Ritz at the Rotunda at the Statehouse at 1p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12. Pence and Republicans in the Legislature at out of control. Bring them back to the reality of angry parents, voters, and supporters of Public Education, equal access for all.
