I’m having the same problem as anti charter crusader. Maybe it’s a glitch with my computer or operating system or who knows. I’ll try it later or try to work around it some how. Computers can be so much fun, OY. But I did see the first 2 segments yesterday (after much effort and cursing), I’m trying to catch the 3rd segment now. Obviously some of the other commenters had no problem.
Dr. Ravitch, I let our local NBC political guy, Brahm Resnik, (he does Sunday Square-Off on Ch. 12) know about your wonderful interview and asked him to interview you. This is the reply I received.
“Thanks for passing this along. I’d love to talk about Diane Ravitch’s ideas, but I need her in Phoenix to do it. Maybe you can get an email campaign going to have her come out here?”
I don’t think there are a lot of people in Arizona who get what is happening in education. It would be wonderful if you could come out. We Arizona BATS could probably get you a book signing at Changing Hands bookstore in Tempe, AZ, as well. I promote your book and ideas as often as I can. What can we do to get you to come to Phoenix? Thanks for your consideration.

I was unable to view the 2nd & 3rd segments, even when I went directly to the MSNBC site. Methinks something is fishy there. I suspect charter supporters at the network. Perhaps that’s silly, but the Ed Deformers have seemed to gain control of all the MSM. Bravo to MHP for giving you a chance to share the truth.
I was able to view all three segments. I had to click on each link provided here separately, however.

I was able to watch the 2nd segment this morning, but now I only get a commercial for another MSNBC program and then I’m told that the segment is not available. What I was able to see of segments 1 and 2 were great. Thanks to MHP for thoughtfully reading Diane’s book and asking real questions.
I have informed the producer at the MHP show that the links are not working, She promised to fix it. Originally the segment had a titled about “privatization,” but that has been changed to poverty. I can’t open the link myself and will continue to follow up on this.
