Now the story emerges that Bloomberg reporters were spying on Bloomberg’s clients.

In an ironic twist, reporters at Bloomberg were spying on federal government employees.
And the Pope. Mama mia.
How great! People aren’t worth S**T! What about ethics, confidentiality, responsibility, honesty…all the Boy Scout Honors. Why do we pretend that we as humans are capable of keeping matters confidential?
Particularly ironic, given that Bloomberg was an Eagle Scout.
Isn’t fascism the marriage of government and business?
Why do I bring this up? Oh, no reason.

Bloomberg’s contempt for democracy is notorious. He spent $100-mil-plus to overturn term limits so he could claim a 3rd term as mayor, supported all the way by his current fav candidate for next mayor, Speaker Christine Quinn, even tho NYC voters twice voted against estensions beyond 2-term limit. Bloomberg handed over 2 pub parks in South Bronx so Yankees could put new stadium on land where poorest families in NYC used to picnic and play ball, cutting down 377 mature oak trees along the way. Now, B is trying to hand over 13 acres of Flushing Meadow Park to an oil billionaire from Dubai to build a pvt soccer stadium. He’s also been busy disposessing smal business owners of Willetts Point in Queens to build a new mall/hotel//condo. Big Biz in pub office thoroughly plunders the public sphere for pvt gain, including the recent rampage through our pub schls.
What do you expect from bullies with no integrity? People who are super rich have usually gotten there through unsavory means.
