   I heard on the cable station that the Chicago education chief Brizard

   The mayor’s office said he is *being* *replaced* by Barbara Byrd-Bennett, who has been *Chicago*’s interim *chief* *education* officer for the past six months

   is stepping down ( mutual agreement for him to step down- I wonder what kind of pension package he will get) and that Rahm Emanuel said he will announce his replacement in 3 hours. Will you be doing a commentary on this issue? You will be there on Monday when the new gal is in place. Maybe you will get to meet Barbara Byrd- Bennett Thank you.

   Diane, Really enjoyed hearing you this morning at the City Club of Chicago. You made some extremely relevant points that really hit home for me. I am a former CPS special education teacher. I agree that Karen Lewis and the CTU has done the right thing for our schools. All of our children have a great deal of potential if we can provide them with a quality education.
