At the NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey, Trump told the press that the ceasefire with Iran is over. He referred to the Iranian leaders as “scum.” Following his remarks, oil prices went up.
Iran has attacked ships attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. The US has bombed Iran. Iran has bombed American bases in Bahrain and Kuwait.
At the summit, Trump assailed our NATO allies for failing to help him in the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran. He also reopened his campaign to compel Denmark to give or sell Greenland to the U.S.

I live in a military community. In a recent social media post a few MAGA locals were complaining that NATO never helps our country while we pay far too much for membership. It was the veterans that set the record straight. One veteran said that he stood shoulder to shoulder with NATO members in Iraq and Afghanistan. A second veteran commented that there are many gold star families in the EU from supporting the US in conflicts. A third person commented that Trump’s bombing of Iran is not actually a war, and the conflict was never brought before Congress for approval. MAGA only understands what Trump tells them to believe.
