Andy Borowitz is a humorist who wrote for The New Yorker for years. He now has his own blog. This is a recent entry:
MINNEAPOLIS (The Borowitz Report)—A study published by the University of Minnesota Medical School on Friday “strongly indicates” that people who are exposed to Sen. JD Vance lose all interest in activity that would lead to reproduction.
According to Dr. Davis Logsdon, who supervised the study, “Research subjects exposed to JD Vance became less likely to reproduce and more inclined to acquire a cat.”
Logsdon said the responses of study participants became “even more pronounced” when they were shown an image of Vance in drag.
In that situation, he said, the participants exhibited a range of behaviors from “recoiling in horror” to “attempting to flee.”
“Taken as a whole, this research suggests that JD Vance might not be the best messenger for his own pro-reproduction stance,” the researcher said. “He could, however, be an effective promoter of abstinence.”

This is obviously not scientific. Those people up in Minnesota don’t know anything about creating pros.

It’s as scientific as JD Vance is sexy!

Trump in 2025: Again. They stole the election again. Even worse this time. Of course I would have won if I’d had any other running mate besides J.D. Vance, who I didn’t even want, by the way, though I did win it of course, the election. Bigly. Nobody ever got so many votes. I think it was the beard. First time I saw him I said that’s gotta be unhygenetic. But they said, Sir, you gotta have Vance. Should have listened to myself because I’m a genius. I had an uncle who took over for the entire faculty of MIT. The president fired them all because none were as smart as him. Why can’t you guy’s be as smart as Trump, he said. You are disgrace. Like the stolen election. People say, but Sir, where’s your proof you won the election? Well here, here’s how you know: they say that blacks and women voted for Commie Kamala, but being blacks and women they know blacks and women, and they aren’t going to vote for them. That’s a proven fact. Am I right? And everyone knows there’s nobody blacks and women love more than Trump. That’s one of my blacks over there. Great guy. And women. They are all over Trump because, you know how they are if you’re rich and a celebrity. There’s this guy, Hannibal Lector, you’ve heard me talk about him. He wouldn’t even touch one of those guys with a beard like Vance. Unhygenetic. Ever get that? Hair un your food? Disgusting. People don’t want that. Oh, and hamburgers. The Democrats are coming after your cows. Commie Kamala wants you cows. You think I’m kidding. We don’t do something about America, any day now, no more cows. Thats why I’m going to be announcing something really big, I mean really, really big, any day now. Let’s just say we’ve got contractors at Mar-a-Lago right now installing the Situation Room for my second term of office. All this was predicted in Two Corinthians, by the way. I case you don’t have a Truth Social Account.

Time to dust off the pink pussy hats once the Hamas candidate loses.
The problem with being a Jacobin is the inevitable outcome of being a useful idiot.
Can’t wait to see all the Marxist tears in November. Until then enjoy your candidate with a vocabulary of about 500 hundred words and no brain.
She won’t get to bat her eyelashes and laugh off her record and her incompetence.
Orange man bad is going to crush her in a debate. Her performance on the border and the criminal illegal alien invasion is going to consign her and her sycophantic voters into the trash can of history.
Good luck with your hivemind echo chamber.

If Trump doesn’t win, he will spend the rest of his life as a defendant and a convicted felon. He looks sick right now. He realizes Harris has momentum in every battleground state and he has a shrinking base of embittered people.

Even if he is a winner, it will be an interesting thing to analyze how Trump will behave. His first administration was a dramatic failure if measured through the lens of extreme conservatism. I guess this is why 2025 was devised, in attempt to succeed where Trump failed. That is probably why the plan calls for the dismissal of so many people who know the law within the various administrations of departments.

Andy Borowitz also had a humorous satirical guest essay published in the NYT today!
“Trump Can Win on Character”
Wait, mea culpa! The NYT invited National Review editor Rich Lowry to write that guest essay, in order to give credibility to one of the most unserious, fact-free, ridiculous false narratives the Republicans plan on using.
(Isn’t that like suggesting that Hitler attack his opponent for being anti-Semitic to defeat him?)
I realize it is a well-known Republican campaign strategy to falsely accuse their opponent of having the huge negatives that the Republicans actually are guilty of having. And I realize it usually works, thanks to the so-called liberal media. But the NYT has definitely jumped the shark by publishing — and likely commissioning – this piece of claptrap.
This is not a joke. Although if you read the comments, you’ll find that many NYT readers were stunned to read the article and see it was not satire, but what the NYT believes is a serious viewpoint that is worthy of being given the highest credibility – a guess essay in the NYT.

NYCPSP,
I saw the headline and skipped it. You are right on. The story should have been written by Andy Borowitz. Trump and “character” is an oxymoron.

I cannot get the NYT, but I have noted that one way newspapers show bias is to print the preposterous writing that comes from the side opposite most of its readership. The oped page is often filled with widely divergent opinions on the news. Printing something ridiculous from one side makes a good argument for the other side.
