Link corrected!
In case you missed our Zoom conversation, this is the link to my discussion with Steve Suitts about his new book about the segregationist origins of “school choice.”
His book is “Overturning Brown: The Segregationist Legacy of the Modern School Choice Movement.”
Would you please post the Zoom conversation with Steve Suitts?
Sorry for the wrong link for my discussion with Steve Suitts. I am reposting in full at 2:30 pm EST with the correct link:

I saw this interesting discussion the other day. My take away was the deform crowd does an excellent job of messaging. The perfect example is that school choice is the “civil rights issue of our time.” Deformer after deformer has danced to this drum beat in the media for years. Even though it is false and stale, we still hear it today. Michael Bennet blurted it out when he was campaigning for president. We should all repeat the same simple message that “choice” is racist policy, and it is an easy statement to defend, if challenged.
