When the protests and demonstrations became loud in D.C., Donald Trump took shelter in the secure bunker under the White House. Although this was widely reported, Trump denied it, claiming that was merely “inspecting” the bunker.

I burst out laughing when I read “Trump claimed he was only inspecting the bunker.”
It took Trump 3.5 years while living in the White House to “inspect the bunker” but only when protests were taking place outside the White House fence? Really, are Trump’s deplorable supporters really that stupid and easy to fool? Horses, dogs, cats, and guinea pigs are smarter.

Good news- Huffpo reports that NYT’s opinion editor, James Bennet, is out after the Tom Cotton column. Baffler described Bennet as writing “alarmist screeds about women making their way up in the world” and, the magazine criticized Bennet for Erik Prince’s “Advertorial” column. It would be great if the new editor ditched hypocrite, David Brooks and, Brett Stephens.

But, when real two-year-olds get scared they hide in the closet or under the bed. Haven’t you heard “the difference between boys and men is the price of their toys.” Trump had to have a much bigger, deeper closet.

MOSCOW (The Borowitz Report)—Vladimir Putin has rejected Donald J. Trump’s request for ten thousand active-duty Russian Army troops to guard the perimeter around the White House, Administration and Kremlin sources have confirmed.
After Trump’s call for U.S. troops was rebuffed by Defense Secretary Mark Esper and General Mark Milley, Trump reportedly snapped, “I’ll call Vlad,” and stormed out of the meeting with the two men.
Much to Trump’s disappointment, however, his request for Russian troops met with a chilly response….

Rather late, but still…
The song is a parody of “The Jitterbug,” written for the Wizard of Oz and actually filmed, but cut for length. The footage was later shown in “That’s Entertainment 3,” as well as “Tom and Jerry: Back to Oz.” Quite a footprint for a cut song.
