Blogger “Like a Renegade” observes that Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson is indifferent to the presence of COVID 19 in the prison population.
The blogger reminds the governor that prisoners interact with a large number of staff who then go out into the general population and may spread the disease.
She also points out that most inmates are in jail for a term, or for a death sentence.
The virus is no respecter of boundaries. It can be carried by cafeteria workers, guards, medical staff, police, or inmates on work release. She suggests that the indifferent, inhumane Governor Hutchinson pay attention.
Governor Hutchinson is one of those conservatives who is pro-life so long as it’s unborn.

Governor Asa Hutchinson’s refusal to care about the inmates in prison reminds me of what happened in Singapore.
Singapore was doing everything right: wearing masks, contact tracing and putting those with COVID-19 in isolation. Their numbers went down and all was fine UNTIL…it was found that foreign workers, around 200,000, were housed in government buildings. The sudden increase in infections was coming from this housing in which humans were in close contact with each other.
Here is proof that ignoring one segment of the population will have horrendous results. I totally dislike the conservative hypocrites that only care about human life while it is in the fetus…get born and then die.
Israel is facing a large COVID-19 outbreak among the ultra-Orthodox community who are 10% of the population, but 50% of the virus cases. I would point out that Andrew Cuomo is outdoing Gov. Hutchinson. Cuomo’s aggressive police tactics have actually led to more people being thrown into jail, ironically, often for violations of social distancing rules (those who dare to talk back to the NYPD, that is).
