Larry Lee, a member of the Montgomery, Alabama, School Board and a good friend, has a valuable suggestion for your Christmas shopping list.
Make a difference.
Teachers in states like Alabama and Georgia are asking for help.
He gives the link where you can help them.
Of course, their legislators should be funding their schools.
But they aren’t.
Let’s do what we can.

Every gift should also be accompanied by letters to the legislators who have underfunded public schools and placed teachers in the position of having to beg for supplies for students. Send copies of that letter to state and local school boards, and the Chamber of Commerce as well.
