While not about TFA per se, this one about charter schools’ exclusivity and creaming of kids is truly hysterical.
Apparently, those in charge of this new charter school are implementing the ultimate innovation is education — they’ll take the $80,000,000 in public funding, but they’ll be exclusive in whom they accept … so exclusive, in fact, that they won’t actually have ANY students, calling this move a “bold next step in education reform.”
“Thanks to our groundbreaking methods, we’ve established a structured yet free-thinking environment where the student is taken out of the equation entirely, and in fact is not allowed on school property. And the results, we think, speak for themselves.”
