Kate McKinnon is the most talented member of the Saturday Night Live cast (in my humble opinion). She plays Hillary Clinton, Jeff Sessions, Robert Mueller, Kellyanne Conway, Elizabeth Warren, Justin Bieber, and almost anyone else. She is a great mimic and a talented singer. She plays the piano, the cello, and the guitar. She is a public school graduate from a high school from Long Island.
Last night, she played Betsy DeVos, and SNL offered her the opportunity to rectify her flubbed appearance on “60 Minutes.”
Kate is hilarious, but no way can she capture the true DeVos sneer, which I think of as the billionaire sneer (“I am very very rich, but you are not.”)

Who can but smirk, snivel, snark, and smile so smoothly, so easily, so effortlessly? Ms. DeVorkian of Public Schools is the picture perfect portrait of toothy, smooth complexioned genteel evil that allows for all the niceties and politeness the public requires and still accomplishes all the gradual social atrocities over time in private.
Personally, I would want Kate McKinnon not to play DeVos. I’d want her to be DeVos. She’d make a much better Secretary of Education, no? Kate should hook up with Cynthia Nixon.

Yes DeVoss is horrifically, but let’s remember that Obama and the Democratic Party brought us Arnie Dunkin who drove the public school bus to the edge of the cliff! We need to do better at vetting even our
“frien-emies” too CEA (Colorado Education Association of your state affiliate) and NEA and locals!

“Mean and hurtful” doesn’t even come close to what the educraterers (or is it educritters?) are.
They have done a massive amount of damage and simply walked away as if nothing ever happened (in any cases moving on to high paying gigs) leaving teachers, parents, principals and others to pick up the pieces of their disruptive and destructive policies.
