Au contraire! We need humor more than ever. We need art more than ever. We need novels more than ever. We need plays and musicals more than ever. We need “Casablanca” and “Singin’ in the Rain” and Astaire and Rogers more than ever.

Diane: I was joking, it was my lame attempt at satire. I flopped, obviously. We absolutely do need massive amounts of humor in the age of Trump, no question. Trump and his gang of GOP gargoyles must be mocked and ridiculed 24/7.
