Kellyanne Conway told an interviewer that the surveillance of the Trump campaign may have been more extensive than simply tapping telephones. It may have occurred through television sets and even microwaves.
Complaints like this are what you might expect to hear from losers, not winners.
Kellyanne Conway alludes to even wider surveillance of Trump campaign – http://www.northjersey.com
Please. Please. Please. Let. Me. Wake. Up. From. This. Nightmare.
I do not want to hear her name.
I do ot want to know what this corrupt lunatic says.
he will throw her under th bus, too, an not a minute too soon.
Not just Kellyanne, but Sean Spicer and all the other Trumpbots who parrot the Trumpian line.
Kellyanne and Trump should fashion hats out of aluminum foil which will “block any attempts at serveillance,” and they should be sure to wear them to the next press conference. That way the American people can see that the president is “fighting back against illegal serveillance.” Other conservatives should “protect” themselves in a similar manner.
posted my similar comment before I saw yours!
Oh I think Kellyanne, Trump et al. must have already been wearing tin foil hats for quite awhile because, since they are on the same wavelength as microwaves, their brains have clearly been nuked.
Their tin foil hats had a habit of wearing out from the inside due to the moral & ethical bankruptcy radiation shooting out of their skulls, so they stopped using them.
Kelly Ann is just trying really hard to make herself relevant. Perhaps if she said less….
I just sent this letter to President Trump. I copy/pasted a NYT alert:
Dear President Trump,
Please explain why the Republican health care plan is ‘wonderful”? Somehow, giving tax breaks to the wealthy and slowly dismantling Medicaid doesn’t have the allure to many that you find appealing.
Here is what the New York Times has to say:”
BREAKING NEWS
24 million would lose insurance under the G.O.P. health bill within a decade, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office found
Monday, March 13, 2017 4:22 PM EDT
Republicans had been bracing for what was almost certain to be a bleak accounting of the legislation’s projected effects. The American Health Care Act, as Republicans call their bill, was already facing widespread criticism from providers of health care, some conservatives, and a united Democratic Party. The numbers released Monday will only make it more difficult for Republicans to explain why their legislation would bring positive change to the country’s health care system.
I’d like to think that 24 million would disagree that this is a ‘wonderful’ plan. Please explain why it is considered by you to be so great.
You wasted your time he doesn’t read. Did you include pictures that would have helped .
I kind of with Joel on this one. I don’t believe contacting the White House matters. It is more important to develop contacts with your local U.S. representative and senate offices. You should also focus on the state level reps and senators and other local public officials. If they agree with you, they can be your surrogate voices for the U.S. Congress. But the most important thing you can do is to have conversations with your friends, family and neighbors and ask them to do the same.
I regularly send email protests in to my State and Federal Congressmen. I also call and protest. Indiana is a red state and there is lots to protest about. We do have a Democratic House Representative Visclosky who is doing a good job.
Since the Orange Buffoon’s White House staff allowed only comments against Obamacare, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to have an avalanche of protests against the Republican version.
Kelleyanne says that all of the hoopla over surveillance comes from Democrats who cannot accept the results of the election but she also says that surveillance systems can be everywhere, so ….so..?
I am reminded of the McCarthy era where Communists and Communist sympathizers were in every nook and cranny and had to be outed.
But there is a difference here. Kelleyanne is recycling what she hears or reads in the news. Which news? She is also amping up the imagery of Obama and his surrogates as the masters and perpetrators of massive surveillance of Trump, including Trump Tower (or maybe the Russians did it).
A good question to ask is: ” Why is she on TV today?”
What else is happening that should get our attention? The draft budget from Trump? The Trump health bill that is already in trouble, both sides of the aisle? Those ESSA plans about to be submitted with DeVos “template” guidance released today, a bit late for an early April deadline? Why DeVos chose the Republican dominated CCSSO as her authorized provider of THE template states should follow if they want USDE to affirm that they comply with the ESSA accountability requirements. How about the meaning of all of those plans some well over 200 pages, when the very requirements the plans were supposed to meet were zeroed out of existence by Congress a day or to ago.
I am dizzy trying to follow up on all of the stuff hitting the fan.
Would CNN or any other network pay any attention to a person spouting the garbage coming out of Conjob, if she were not part of the White House. That should not affect their decision, she should not be given air time . In fact the White House, till it stops its assault on the First Amendment should be reported on but not given a platform .
Did she forget that it was HILLARY’s campaign that was hacked AND published? The Trump folks have yet to be concerned about Russians hacking into American campaigns.
Nancy, a good reminder. No one published any of Trump campaign emails. Trump himself has no email chain because he doesn’t use email. He only tweets. And that is not an overstatement. It is a fact (not an alternative fact).
I have always found the disparity in who gets hacked and then leaked and who doesn’t to be quite telling.
There’s an easy solution to this: I just wear a tinfoil hat in my kitchen so the microwave can’t read my thoughts. 🙂
This buffoon should be ignored TOTALLY and not be given a platform – anything and everything that comes out of that mouth is idiotic… her only talent is being conniving on behalf of her buffoon boss!
I just plagiarized you . But I hadn’t read your comment when I posted the Identical thought. Working my way down the thread. I would like to say great minds think alike except that it should seem obvious to everybody. The Networks are more interested in advertising revenue than they are in the future of the Nation. Although at least Morning Joe on MSNBC has made it policy to not give this ——- ——- a platform .
Plagiarism: the most sincere type of flattery!
Hey the more comments made to this effect… THE BETTER :)!!!!! These idiots need to be denied their main platform… the media!!!!
The GOP made a huge mistake. It’s obvious that the far right has been working for decades to rig the 2016 election, and if we look at all the Republicans, the front runners, that ran for president in 2016, almost every candidate was a far-right clone except for the Groping, Liar-in-Chief who won.
The GOP rigged the election by making it difficult for minorities/democrats to vote in some states that the Republicans totally control.
The GOP rigged the election with help from the FBI.
The GOP rigged the election with help from the conservative hate media machine.
Putin helped Trump, but I don’t think the GOP planned that one as they rigged the election to lean the odds in favor of another Republican candidate.
But the election wasn’t rigged for the Malignant Narcissist in the White House to win. It was rigged for one of the other candidates to win. The winner was supposed to be Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, or Jeb Bush — not Trump. The other conservatives that ran didn’t stand a chance against the three frontrunners mentioned in this paragraph that lost to the Groping Orange Gopher (no insult intended for real gophers), and the deplorable, ignorant, easy-to-fool voters who supported Trump didn’t like the other choices so they went with the Liar-in-Chief because he kept telling them what they thought they wanted to hear.
How can anyone who only went to private schools understand the power of public schools and put together an educational plan, which truly serves our young and a democratic society?
We now have a FAKE GOVERNMENT.
This just came out on The Atlantic:
The Justice Department has until the end of the day to provide evidence to the House Intelligence Committee to substantiate President Trump’s allegations that former President Obama wiretapped Trump Tower. White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer attempted to soften Trump’s accusations, saying Trump wasn’t using the term “wiretapping” literally.
……………
How far can our ‘fake government’ extend?
I watched her on t.v. this morning before leaving for work and Matt Lauer and his partner (I don’t know her name; I rarely watch a.m. news) asked her point blank at the very least, 10 times, for proof, for evidence, did she REALLY think, did Trump really believe, and Kellyann did nothing but deflect, change the subject, spout alternative facts, talk in circles…I think the world is growing tired of Mrs. Conway. She likely was “that girl” on the debate team who could spin on a dime, whether she believed her argument or not – if one road doesn’t work, spin, take another road. I would hate to be on a jury with her or argue with her because it’s like talking to a wall and I’d likely lose my cool.
What is the point of Trump’s tweets, and everyone running clean up after him? Is it distraction? Is it insanity?
Conway is a nut job – of that, I’m certain. She may be a sociopath.
Trump and his various mouthpieces are primarily sock puppets of distraction and disinformation. I hope for a short learning curve for the media and the populace such that every time team Dumpster45 drops a lie bomb, people immediately try to figure out what they are really trying to keep us from finding out. At this point, there are still far too many in the media and the nation who are like the person who keeps answering the door every time someone rings the bell as a prank and just doesn’t get it because they seem to have forgotten that it just happen a few minutes beforehand, and a few before that.
This come from the Daily Kos:
Popular vote loser Donald Trump spent Monday morning with his television, as usual, and is not at all happy that the television made Kellyanne Conway’s bizarre assertion that Trump’s microwave oven was spying on him look as ridiculous as it is. So what does he do? He tweets at the TV.
Trump Tweet: “It is amazing how rude much of the media is to my very hard working representatives. Be nice, you will do much better!
7:52 AM – 13 Mar 2017”
You’re on notice, media: Be nice. Make his representatives’ crazy rantings make sense.
Carol,
Since Kellyanne warned us about being spied on by our microwave oven, I try to keep the door closed, got the sake of privacy.
How great that the Orange Buffoon wants to cut social services such as HUD and screening at airports so that we can have $54 billion in new aid to the military. This just came out on the Washington Post.

Admiral, seven others charged with corruption in new ‘Fat Leonard’ indictment…WaPo
By Craig Whitlock March 14 at 3:34 PM
…The charges cover a period of eight years, from 2006 through 2014…
…The Navy personnel are accused of taking bribes in the form of lavish gifts, prostitutes and luxury hotel stays courtesy of Leonard Glenn Francis, a Singapore-based defense contractor who has already pleaded guilty to defrauding the Navy of tens of millions of dollars.
In exchange, according to federal prosecutors, the officials provided Francis with classified or inside information that enabled his firm, Glenn Marine Defense Asia, to gouge the Navy out of tens of millions of dollars.…

PS. Diane, I don’t have a microwave. But I am worried about my TV spying on me.
Carol,
Kellyanne hinted at all the ways we are under surveillance. Frankly I don’t know if I can trust my toaster.
I know what you mean about toasters! Personally, I won’t have one in my house. I used to, but it kept popping up & surprising me, scaring my pants off, a couple of minutes after I pressed down that little lever. Why wouldn’t it just stay on? It’s almost as if it was designed that way!
Coincidence? I think not!
🙂
Forget the toaster. Imagine what our toilets will reveal.
Ha ha ha … I think we should all leave messages we want read in our microwaves from now on! Who needs social media or blogs when we have our microwaves in the comfort of our own homes!!!
What a group – we now have CNN reporting that someone leaked Trump’s 2005 taxes!
He paid 38 million – I wonder if you believe this is his fair share – probably not – and as the sleuths will salivate over the numbers – he had a 960 million write off – wow I guess your noses to the grindstone will wonder how he did it legally – short cut to your favorite news – CNN –
Whoever leaked them will be charged with a federal law – no – if hillary didn’t get jailed neither will this person –
Keep up the hope , still no evidence of Putin and Trump collusion FBI report from Comey coming up this week – stay tune with your box of tissues!
Glad to know Trump paid some taxes. His tax rate is far less than mine. He must have a better accountant.
Diane,
He paid about 25 % rate – more than Obama and Clinton – Maddow show was a classic – will be in vault with Rivera’s search in a cave for a body…
If you paid more than 25% ask Trump for his lawyer’s name –
Allegation spews more Speculation – continues in the main stream news. They don’t see that they are making themselves fools – but see themselves as heroes in the continuation of a scavenger hunt for Trump’ destruction.
jscheidell
I have a very ethical accountant. I paid a 35% rate, plus another 12% in state and local taxes.
Lloyd,
I couldn’t hold back on your comment with the toilets – “Forget the toaster. Imagine what our toilets will reveal.”
It will show you as full of excrement!
Can of deodorizer – odor of de-facts – will not clear the flatulence…
As you have marked me – The Troll and Idiot – any new monikers?
I haven’t read any details yet about the alleged, leaked Trump taxes, so I can’t respond, and I’m not interested in what was unless there is evidence he is a traitor and sold out to Russia’s Putin. I’m more interested in what’s coming. What the Malignant Narcissist paid in taxes isn’t important as his future tax plans.
Do you have two brain cells to rub together?
Trump is a serial liar, a conman, a fraud, etc. The list is long.
The Malignant Narcissist’s goals in the White House is the same goal Rasputin-Goebbel’s Steve Bannon has, to destroy government, civilization, and replace both with constant chaos and rebellion. In other words, a return to the middle ages of ignorance, religious inquisitions, and religious wars.
Anyone who supports Trump the Malignant Narcissistic Troll or Bannon is ignorant and deplorable, and they will not be fighting on the side I join.
Betsy DeVos is a leader in a far-right, fundamentalist, evangelical Christian movement to subvert the U.S. Constitution and turn America into a theocratic dictatorship. She belongs to a faction that is no different than ISIS and/or the Taliban except the DeVos cabal calls itself Christians, but they are not true Christians. They are fanatics!
That’s why I’m stocking up ammo for America’s 2nd Civil War to start, so I’m ready. I’m so glad I’m a former U.S. Marine and was trained to fight in a war and also fought in one like the 2nd Civil War that is coming. Not if, but when. That Civil War will arrive if Trump and his billionaire cabal of far right fanatics are not removed from power.
Lloyd,
If his future tax plans give you money back and the tax plan gives businesses a cut which – as shown by Reagan and Clinton when they cut it back, creates an economic positive jump. Will you donate your extra money back to Trump – it might be dirty with the Ruskies’ hands on it.
Destruction of a bloated overreaching government is the direction. Sad yes, I do have my “deplorable” t-shirt – wearing it proudly and on the back I have the rest of the list – irredeemable etc in a basket!
Trump continues to win again and again with the release of the taxes- the taxes proves he is a millionaire, that he does pay taxes and there is no link to Putin and Russia.
The taxes from 2005–11 years ago–prove nothing at all about Trump’s ties to Putin.
What they do prove is that Donald Trump and people in his income bracket stand to gain the most from his tax plan.
Unless, jscheidell, you are in Trump’s bracket, you will not get a refund. Sorry.
http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2017/03/donald-trump-leaked-2005-tax-returns-maddow
After your first ignorant and deplorable comment and my reply, I looked up this alleged leak and it wasn’t the entire tax form for that year. It was a couple of pages, just enough to show that Trump paid taxes. That’s all – no details showing where all of his investments, loans, losses, and income is coming from. What I read said it was probably leaked by Trump so he could show he paid taxes.
Trump is not doing his job as president. He is subverting the Constitution and dismantling the federal government while spending more and cutting taxes for his less than 1-percent socio-economic class. The only winners will be him, other billionaires, and huge corporations.
The other 99-percent of Americans are going to be screwed.
DID TRUMP LEAK HIS OWN RETURNS? “Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist David Cay Johnston suggested Tuesday night on MSNBC’s ‘The Rachel Maddow Show’ that President Donald Trump himself may have been the unknown source who sent two pages of his 2005 tax return to the journalist… ‘There is absolutely nothing improper about journalists — if you haven’t solicited something — getting it over the transom. Let me point out, it’s entirely possible that Donald sent this to me. Donald Trump has, over the years, leaked all sorts of things.’ Johnston didn’t indicate he has any actual evidence Trump was the source, but he does know Trump’s tendencies well after decades of covering him.” [HuffPost]
Yes, Carolmalaysia, I have been wondering about this, too.
“Oh, look, look! He paid $38 million in taxes! So yes, he does pay taxes!”
Back in 2005. And what about subsequent years?
Has Trump Tweeted his outrage at the 2-page leak of his 2005 return?
Has he blamed anyone yet?
I wonder how many pages his tax return runs?
I just have a small home based business and my tax return runs many pages. His is probably a hundred pages or more. All we learned from the two pages is he paid $35-million in taxes on about a $150-million in earnings, and I think the two pages also revealed about $950 million in expenses and deductions.
Diane,
My wife and I don’t pay anywhere near 35% and we get money back from the state….I have a good CPA – legal and ethical – If you are happy paying your “fair share” at that rate – enjoy!
And IRS has found his tax report ethical and legal as well HMMMM

Will the truth ever catch up with Trump’s most skilled spin artist?
…Conway has become famous for her insistence on Trump’s looking-glass version of reality—in which conspiracy theories merit consideration but reported facts are suspect. She claimed, during the campaign, that Trump “doesn’t hurl personal insults,” and that when it came to Barack Obama’s birth certificate, “it was Donald Trump who put the issue to rest.” She once insisted, on CNN, that Trump should be judged by “what’s in his heart” rather than “what’s come out of his mouth.” She has reframed falsehoods as “alternative facts,” invented a terrorist attack (the “Bowling Green massacre”), and flacked for Ivanka Trump’s clothing line, in possible violation of federal ethics rules.
When Conway’s critics pile on, she just keeps spinning. “She can stand in the breach and take incoming all day long,” Steve Bannon, Trump’s chief strategist, told me. “That’s something you can’t coach.” She’s figured out that she doesn’t need to win the argument. All she has to do is craft a semi-plausible (if not entirely coherent) counternarrative, so that those who don’t want to look past the facade of Trump’s Potemkin village don’t have to….
Newt Gingrich, the former House speaker (and a former Conway client), told me her effectiveness at “taking on the media” makes her essential to the new administration. “You either decide you’re going to defend Trump and Trumpism, or you let the left browbeat you into doing stupid things,” he said….
Now that she’s in the White House, she says, she has an expansive role overseeing numerous policy areas…

‘People are scared’: Paranoia seizes Trump’s White House
Staffers are leaving their phones at home, using secret apps and monitoring each other’s social media.
By Alex Isenstadt and Kenneth P. Vogel

…Aides are going to great lengths to protect themselves. They’re turning off work-issued smartphones and putting them in drawers when they arrive home from work out of fear that they could be used to eavesdrop. They’re staying mum in meetings out of concern that their comments could be leaked to the press by foes.
Many are using encrypted apps that automatically delete messages once they’ve been read, or are leaving their personal cellphones at home in case their bosses initiate phone checks of the sort that press secretary Sean Spicer deployed last month to try to identify leakers on his team.
It’s an environment of fear that has hamstrung the routine functioning of the executive branch….
