The Los Angeles Times published this story about a man who fosters dying babies and children.
http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-foster-father-sick-children-2017-story.html
It begins like this.
“The children were going to die.
“Mohamed Bzeek knew that. But in his more than two decades as a foster father, he took them in anyway — the sickest of the sick in Los Angeles County’s sprawling foster care system.
“He has buried about 10 children. Some died in his arms.
“Now, Bzeek spends long days and sleepless nights caring for a bedridden 6-year-old foster girl with a rare brain defect. She’s blind and deaf. She has daily seizures. Her arms and legs are paralyzed.”
Unspoken here, barely mentioned, is that Bzeek is Muslim. What shines through is his kindness.

Sainthood is not just for Christians–this Muslim man surely qualifies.

The juxtaposition of this report and Peter Greene’s report on the Christian theocracy movement–with members of Trump’s inner circle listed, is a statement in itself. Mindboggling contrasts.

I was treated in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia by cyberknife for two brain tumors. For many months a Muslim girlfriend came almost every weekend to take me shopping for groceries and necessities. She helped me get through a very rough time of my life.
When I read stories about Muslims hating Westerners, I know that isn’t true. Extremists in every religion do not represent the love and caring that religion brings to many people. The Muslim religion when practiced in its true form, means caring for those who are in need as well a worshiping a loving God.
Trump and Bannon’s hatred need to be taken in the perspective of narrow minded bigotry. It is unfortunate that their fear is spreading to too many in this country. They are using fear to increase their political standing among those who have a narrow view of the world.

Everyone really has to learn about Dominion Christianity and other theological perversions of Christianity just like perversions of Islam. No one in these “religious” movements cares about the kindness of strangers but only who is in and who is out. If you are out, anything may be done to you. I often hear people talk about getting real. “He’s a Christian, he’s a Muslim, she’s a Buddhist, and she is a Hindu” So what? It means nothing. The Pope is a Christian and so is Steve Bannon. Do you think there’s a difference?
P.S. a propos of nothing – I am getting sick and tired of people supposedly representing the Left talk against capitalism. If you want me in your movement – to donate, to canvass, etc. – then lay off the Socialist stuff. That’s fine for Socialists; I am not a socialist, I am a left of center Liberal Democrat and I love the free enterprise system. I’ve been characterized as being some sort of anti-capitalist b/c I don’t vote Republican. To be characterized as warming up to Socialism b/c I want to be an activist against the Republican agenda is double jeopardy. Nothing against Socialists, I am one and enjoy my social security.
