Trump is obsessed with vengeance.
Vengeance against all those who have dared to investigate him for his role in the insurrection of January 6, vengeance against those who dared to investigate him for taking classified documents to Mar-a-Lago, vengeance against those who dared to criticize him, vengeance against those who prosecuted him for paying off Stormy Daniels….the list is long. His grievances are many.
Every FBI agent who participed in these investigations was fired. But that’s not enough.
At last, he has found the perfect vehicle, a prosecution to snare his enemies. They will be charged with participating in a Grand Conspiracy to smear him.
The federal judge is Aileen Cannon, who killed Special Prosecutor Jack Smith’s case against Trump. The jury will be drawn in Fort Pierce, Florida, a deep-red jurisdiction, even for matters that occurred in Washington, D.C. The prosecutor will be an 81-year-old Trump ally, not a career prosecutor.
The trial and verdict are rigged. That’s the way Trump likes it.

The headline:
U.S. Installs a Trump Loyalist to Lead ‘Grand Conspiracy’ Case Into Trump Foes
A former lawyer for President Trump’s campaign, Joseph diGenova, is said to be planning to split time between Miami and Fort Pierce, where a grand jury overseen by a Trump-favored judge sits.
Trump will have his vengeance.

I’m not sure things will go the way the convicted felon wants it to go, especially with the statute of limitations going into play and the wrong court (it all happened in D.C. not Florida). But he will cause disruption and anguish to those people that he wants vengeance against.

My guess is Trump will win and the verdict will be overturned on appeal. He wants to convict everyone together.

Prosecutors have to show evidence that they all conspired together and they do not have that besides what Trump’s brain thinks. While they will file in the ‘friendly’ court, it will get a no bill.
Theories are just theories with no concrete evidence.

He has targeted John Brennan, former director of the CIA, who launched the investigation of Trump’s ties to Russia.

He wants vengeance to everyone on his enemies list:
” a Justice Department official told The New York Times over the weekend that Joseph diGenova, a former Trump campaign lawyer who also helped defend the president during his first term, will take over on Monday, but his responsibilities will apparently be broader than just going after Brennan. The Times reported that diGenova will help lead “a sprawling inquiry” into what members of Team Trump have referred to as a “grand conspiracy” case. ”
They all worked together but Brennan was the leader – this according th diGenova.

Cannon has h er lord him buy time before. Now she will help him buy diversion from his failure in Iran, his inflation problems, and the ever present Epstein crisis.

All he wants is to be exonerated of any responsibility for Jan 6 (at the time, he called it a “day of love”), to have his impeachments expunged, and to have every criminal conviction erased.

Question: Will Aileen Cannon get the next Supreme Court seat?
If Dems win control of the Senate, no.
If Republicans are in the majority, yes.

There is talk of Alito retiring in order to give Trump another justice. Cannon would fit Trump perfectly. Impeachment cannot come quickly enough

Let us pray that neither Alito or Thomas retires this year and that the Senate is won by the Democrats.

I read that he’s hiring clerks for next term, in which case the retirement isn’t imminent.
