The Network for Public Education Action Fund has launched a series of initiatives with our allies to keep up the fight against privatization and high-stakes testing.
Join the Stop ALEC protests in Indianapolis from July 27-29. ALEC is one of the leading rightwing forces promoting the destruction of public education. It writes model legislation that is used by its 2,000 members who are state legislators. It favors charters, vouchers, virtual charter schools, and any choice other than public schools. It fights unions. It fights teacher credentialing.
Learn about our allies who led the effort to amend the Democratic platform.
Keep up the fight against the distortion of the ESSA regulations, which John King intends to use to revive the punishments of NCLB.
Join your friends and take stand against the monetization of education!
Learn about NPE’s new grassroots initiative to bring together allies at the local, state, and national levels. Join us and help build our movement.

To all people who are concerned and conscientious about Public Education:
Please remember that Supreme Court Judge Ginsburg apologized to Donald Trump according to NYT,

Ruth Bader Ginsburg Expresses Regret for Criticizing Donald Trump
By MICHAEL D. SHEAR
Justice Ginsburg, who derided the presumptive Republican nominee in several interviews, said her comments were “ill-advised.”

If you think that American Law Enforcers are respected by greedy, egoistic and lusty business force in this 21st century, please imagine commoners like sheep who live under dictatorship government party of all wolves, foxes and pigs.
Please stand up while your thinking is clear, your knees and arms are strong, and stomach are full.
Nobody will be invincible when land, air and water are completely controlled by dictator.
All money at any currency will be in black market and will be quickly become valueless piece of paper within nation due to dictator’s policy. All necessary staples like flour, rice, dry foods and tin foods will be suddenly disappeared in the market, or restrictively distributed to consumers by dictatorship government.
Please see Cuba, Viet Nam, China and Poland in their early years of living under Communists. You can sympathize people’s sufferance, but you NEVER empathize the sufferance unless you experience with it by yourself.
Here is the best quote from NYT AND THE LINK TO SHOW US HOW TO MAKE UP OUR MIND TO JOIN WITH NPE to regain our local democratic movement for sustaining American Public Education in a “whole child education” concept. I pray to human conscientiousness.

This evening, Turkey’s Erdogan is blaming Gulen, for the attempted coup, according to Time. If Turkey’s power changes hands, does that mean that United States citizens can have their schools back?

No, it means that Gulen will control the government of Turkey. Not good for us.
