Even Governor Cuomo has agreed to let his Lt. Governor Kathy Hochul campaign for Todd Kaminsky, a Democrat running against a Republican to fill the seat left empty by the disgraced State Senator Dean Skelos. Please vote for Kaminsky tomorrow!
Kaminsky was endorsed by the New York Times; his legislation was endorsed by the leading opt out group, NYSAPE.

All candidates to office must explain quantum computing as Trudeau did. Wait, where’s the hand wringing and calls for more testing because Canadian politicians are smarter than American politicians? Are all politicians failing?

Ah, conspiracy theorists are out, I see. If you really want a staged event, a futile fumbling farce and meaningless machinations of mayhem, visit a state standardized test underway at any Ohio school.
Not only are Canadian politicians smarter, they are far better looking and I’m a hetero male. Geesh, by that standard, it is time we fire all these incompetent American politicians and close the failing statehouses. Obviously, the rest of the world is performing better on standardized government VAM measures. Of course, we can always just blame teachers.
Most American politicians would not be able to say anything remotely intelligent about quantum computing even if they were reading from a teleprompter — because most of the people they have writing their speeches are as dumb as they are, particularly when it comes to science (“Arne Duncan’s Brain” comes immediately to mind)
And Trudeau was not reading from a teleprompter, of course.
I love Todd, but I hope he does not flip into a 180. . . It is hard to trust someone with Cuomo’s blessing; but then again, Cuomo will do anything to gain favorable light after discovering how vile he really his and accepting that that’s how his constituents feel about him.
Nonetheless, I wish Todd the best of luck and may he stay pure about his convictions. His legislation is promising.
I’ve known Todd for 20 years . He’s a selfless , genuine , caring man . I would stand side by side Todd any day . Diane As I said before and continue to say . You motivate me to be the best teacher possible and fight the corporate take over of public education . You Rock! Thanks for everything .
