So glad you are speaking out against these “so called” conservative organizations that are pushing school choice. They haven’t caught yet that the school choice they dream about no longer exists (if it ever did). They need to a dose of reality. The only CHOICE we should be thinking about is the choice to STOP begging and WAGE WAR against Arne Duncan and the US Dept. of Ed. Because until we turn out the lights on that group we will NEVER win this battle to save our children and the future of this country.

Seriously, we have to stop using the term “free-market” to describe public funded resources. The con is pulled off very largely through our playing along with semantic distortions.

I do appreciate that they’re not hiding the ball anymore, however. The goal is to get rid of existing public schools. Obviously labor unions too, but that’s always been true.

Maybe now we can have a real debate.

That debate was a nice summary of the whole larger debate on privatization vs. public education. One side has all the data and facts and the other has lots of bluster, “ideals” and magic words.

Interesting clip. HOWEVER…

The Principal seems to think that the measuring instruments are accurate. Have they been calibrated against a meaningful and accepted standard?

Both men are wrong.

There is a huge difference between the two men. Principal Troy LaRaviere’s ongoing work is completely honest and throughly and carefully researched.
