Not only self evident, but not to forget, essentially a whole new career at an age when most think about a quiet life. And need I mention gently kicking folks with a bad knee – worthy of a ranking near the top.

Dear Diane, This honor is most deserving! Due to your insight, knowledge, time, dedication, commitment and extreme passion for teachers and teaching, I am on the “cutting-edge” of education issues in the U.S. Being out west, specifically Reno-Sparks, NV, you are prone to being isolated and buffered from the topical issues that drive the education arena. I wish more educators would wake-up and understand what is being done “to them” vs. “for them” by our leaders in Washington. I appreciate all you do to keep us informed and knowledgeable about the topical issues in education. Congratulations on a job well done! Bless you, Dr. Debbie Feemster, Reno-Sparks NAACP

You are making a HUGE difference. Many of my former students, now teachers, are FB friends. Since I regularly post your blog and others, they are becoming more engaged in the politics of education. Once a teacher…..
