30,000 students over 60 schools, so 500 students is too small to run a viable school? I suppose once you get below 400, I could see that. Who cares how big the building is, it’s already paid for. Turn off the heat in part of the building, or use the extra space to raise some free range chickens.
Yeah, if you have time to listen to all of Karen it is quite interesting to hear the size of classes at the Chicago Lab School and the teacher to student ratio there. Clearly an underutilized building and program that should be shut down if we use the same criteria.
