Jersey Jazzman explains a simple concept: When private organizations give money to public agencies, it should be fully disclosed. A couple of legislators actually offered legislation to assure proper oversight, but it was vetoed by Governor Chris Christie, exercising a line-item veto.
In this post, JJ shows how private money is being used to privatize public schools in district after district, without public knowledge or consent.

Ultra-conservative right-wing Republicans (i.e., the Bradley Foundation, Heritage Foundation, Waltons, etc.) intentionally infiltrated the Democratic party by bankrolling Cory Booker.

Kudos for this comment. I’m happy to see that FINALLY some of us are beginning to catch on to the fraud that is Cory “Hedge Fund Puppet” Booker.
And if anyone thinks, “Oh, those right-wing foundations ONLY helped him get started—he’s different now”, then maybe you can explain why Booker was the Keynote Speaker during an ultra-conservative, anti-teacher, anti-public schools, anti-union group, during their conference in Jersey City, New Jersey, in May of 2012.
On the same bill were the teacher-hating bully, Chris Christie, and the Corporate/Privatizer shill, Bobby Jindal.
Booker got the biggest response, including several standing ovations. (Conservatives like nothing better than a black man lambasting public institutions and unionized teachers—particularly when that union is overwhelmingly female, and, in our cities, is majority black and Latino.
Open your eyes and spread the word, please: Cory Booker is a tool of the rich and powerful. They directly chose him and groomed him. I don’t believe a word the man says, particularly on matters of education.

Ego, I putt name on everything, BROAD gave the NJDOE funding for his pet projects that had a stipulation that the funding would only last if BROAD’s preferred candidate (Christie) won the next election. Imagine, the Governor makes big cuts to urban school budgets, proposes more reductions for ” cities”. Ego Broad steps in with some grant money, pittance to him, and says basically, you can keep my money if you vote MY WAY.
I have always heard that NJ was not the most corrupt state, thanks to Louisiana, but, ANOTHER JERSEY COMEBACK, we have passed the good ole boys in the delta.
NJ and Slimy politics, perfect together.
