Social media has allowed educators to contact one another and express their views. The news they tell does not often get covered in the local press. The educators’ insights are worth sharing.
Read this post from Indiana about State Superintendent of Education Bennett, no friend of public schools.
Bennett is running for re-election against veteran educator Glenda Ritz.

Bennett and John White must be sharing ideas. Vote him out, Indiana! Louisiana is stuck with John White unless he resigns to go to greener pastures to muddy like he has done In Louisiana.

The Huntington Teacher has been working hard to publish information about Tony Bennett and his battle against public education. Bennett’s campaign has plenty of support in conservative Indiana, but he’s also getting an influx of out of state money from people like the Walton’s, Betsy DeVos, and Michael Bloomberg…not to mention a chunk from McGraw-Hill, publishers of Indiana’s standardized tests.
