Between this news and the news that Seattle teachers are not getting punished for boycotting the MAP, I can believe that maybe, just maybe, the tide is finally turning. (Fingers crossed!!)
Thanks for posting Brantley’s article. We have been aware of that particular elephant in our ‘natural state’ for some time, locals just refer to them as “the evil empire”.
Try looking into mega-bond daddies Stephens Inc, or data-mining Axiom (sp). The infamous Koch bros. also have excessive influence here, via Georgia Pacific. Help!!!

I see a lot of stereotypes about the rich on this blog. Are you rich?
How many have $85 billion in just their foundation? That is rich, not if you are just a plain old millionaire. A million today is not very much, in fact, it is just enough for a middle class person to retire on, maybe.
