Ann Telnaes was the chief political cartoonist for The Washington Post until she drew a carton of Jeff Bezos and other billionaires paying homage to Trump. Obsequiously. Her editor spiked her cartoon, presumably because The Post is owned by Jeff Bezos. She quit and started her own Substack blog where she is free to draw whatever she wishes.
Here is her latest. It refers to the Bezos-funded “Melania” film, about her life in the 20 days preceding the 2025 inauguration. It is titled “Mendacity.”

TRUMP IS GUILTY OF SEDITIOUS CONSPIRACY
DONALD TRUMP IS GUILTY OF SEDITIOUS CONSPIRACY for declaring that — in violation of Article I, Section 4, Clause 1 of our Constitution — “We should take over voting…the Republicans should nationalize the voting.”
Article I, Section 4, Clause 1 of our Constitution gives states the right and the authority to control elections, so Trump is calling for THE DELIBERATE VIOLATION OF OUR CONSTITUTION.
Seditious Conspiracy requires more than one person to call for violation of the Constitution and Attorney General Pam Bondi sent a letter to Minnesota government officials stating that “We will get the ICE officers out of Minneapolis if you give us control of your voter lists” — in other words: “We want control of your elections”, which is the unconstitutional action that Bondi’s boss, Trump, is calling for.
And there are more Trump officials who are part of the Seditious Conspiracy: Tulsi Gabbard, United States Director of National Intelligence participated in a raid on the State of Georgia’s election offices in which Georgia’s election documents were seized that can give Trump and his minions control over Georgia elections in violation of our Constitution. There are likely other members of the Trump Administration, as well as Republican members of Congress, who are part of the conspiracy.
Trump’s words and his Administration’s actions calling for violation of Article I, Section 4, Clause 1 of our Constitution is not only part of a Seditious Conspiracy, they are also a seriously impeachable violation of Trump’s Oath of Office in which he swore to “preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
