Never-Trumper Bill Kristol espies hypocrisy in Trump’s acceptance of a $400 million gift from Qatar. Qatar, he points out, funds Hamas and the leading anti-Israel campus protest group. Now it also funds the President of the United Ststes!

Trump can’t abide flying around in crusty, old Air Force One. Qatar—funder of both Hamas and the leading U.S. college Gaza protest group—just happens to have a spare, pimped-out 747 lying around, which they’d like to gift to Trump so he can use that instead. Pay no attention to the complete hypocrisy of an administration that says that students protesting for Gaza are a threat to our foreign policy.

Trump wants to use the plane as his new Air Force One until his presidency ends and then the title transfers to Trump’s Presidential Library Foundation. Trump will then get unlimited personal use of the The Flying Palace — but, technically, because the plane’s title will be held by Trump’s library foundation, Trump will get around the Constitution’s Article 1 Section 9, Emoluments Clause that forbids Presidents and others in “any office of trust” from accepting gifts from “any King, Prince, or foreign state,” such as the oil-rich kingdom of Qatar, which (coincidence?) Trump’s Attorney General Pam Bondi represented when she was a registered lobbyist for foreign nations.
By the way, an Arab investment firm in Abu Dhabi just put $2,000,000,000 (that’s 2000 millions of dollars) into Trump’s cryptocurrency scheme
Does anyone care anymore about how Trump is cashing-in on the presidency?
Trump’s personal wealth has increased by $1,000,000,000 PER MONTH (that’s 1000 millions per month) so far in his presidency. MAGA Minions should be asked to calculate how much more wealthy they have become since Trump became President.
