I was standing in line for early voting this morning, and a friend asked, “Did you hear the great speeches in Kalamazoo yesterday by Michelle and Kamala?” I had not. When I got home, after voting for Kamala, I listened to both women.
I hope you watch and listen.
The enthusiasm of the crowd was amazing! They will, as Michelle said, “Do something!”
They referred to their city as Kamalazoo. Good one!

Loved it. Watched Michelle Obama twice. Wow. Even a quiet man that I know said out of the blue that it was exceptional–he rarely says such things. CBK

Michelle’s speech moved me to tears, as she said things that as a 68–year-old feminist woman I hadn’t considered before. She was awesome!

Michelle Obama has evolved into a great communicator. When she became first lady, she started out as a reluctant public speaker. With experience she has developed into a powerful voice for democracy and justice.

MAGA ISN’T THE FIRST to shout the “America First” slogan in Madison Garden:
The “America First” movement in the 1930’s that led to World War II that cost more than 1,000,000 million American casualties, 70 million deaths worldwide, and the devastation Europe and much of Asia:
On February 20, 1939, the Amerikadeutscher Volksbund, or German American Bund, held an “America First” rally to an overflow crowd in Madison Square Garden, praising Hitler, telling lies about Jewish conspiracies against America, and condemning “liberal, leftist” politicians, including President Franklin D. Roosevelt and others. Hitler listened via shortwave radio and felt confident that the American public would favorably view any action he took against “liberals, leftists, communists, and Jews”. So, just seven months later, Hitler invaded Poland and set Europe aflame.
Hitler was correct: Millions of MAGA-like Americans supported Hitler’s military action, and they said that America should not try to stop Hitler.
The Japanese dictators had also listened to the cheers of the “America First” Amerikadeutscher Volksbund crowds, so Japan’s military leaders decided that by taking swift military action against America, such a show of Japan’s military power, coupled with the popular MAGA “America First” movement in the States would prevent the United States from taking retaliatory action and allow Japan to overrun all the Asian nations. So, Japan attacked Pearl Harbor.
That war cost America more than 1,000,000 casualties…and that was before nuclear missiles could reach America. What will the death toll be now because of MAGA’s racist “America First” rhetoric?
