State Senator Tina Bojanowski, teacher and legislator (@TinaforKentucky), tweeted:
KY House passes HB2, a bill to change our Constitution to allow vouchers and charters by creating an amendment that allows future legislation to disregard SEVEN sections of our Constitution.

“Because we can’t let trifles like the state constitution stand in the way of our program to destroy public education.”
I do believe the voters have the final say on any amendments.
Correct. We saw this with the abortion amendment a couple years ago. Also this first has to go to the Senate.
Thanks. I figured as much.
Amazing!
I have a dream that one day down in [Kentucky], with its vicious racists, with its [House] having [their] lips dripping with the words of interposition and nullification, one day right down in [Kentucky], little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers [in public school].
I have a dream today.
well, now! Sort of like John C Calhoun. Small groups of people can just choose what they want. A sort of potluck supper approach to government. I’ll remember that next time I get pulled over by a patrolman in Kentucky.
