The dissident Republicans who created The Lincoln Project are fast and funny.
Here is “Covita.” It shows Trump returning to the White House after his hospitalization for COVID.
This one is called “Adultery.” It shows a sharp contrast between Pence’s Biblical view of marriage and Trump’s life. #hypocrisy
“What is real is that adultery destroys tens of thousands of families every year across America. What is real is that adultery scars tens of thousands of children emotionally and psychologically every year. What is real is that adultery is an open wound in a relationship which more often than not overflows into domestic violence or worse.”
—-Mike Pence, who loves his fame and power more than his etherial morals
Mike “Fleximorals” Dense
Adultery is destructive to families. No?
☹️
Yes. I can be. But that’s not the point here. The point is that Pence is a pretend Christian, who makes a great show of his faith but throws it all out the window to support a serial adulterer and rapist–Donald Trump.
correction: It can be. LOL.
Gore supported Clinton. That’s what vice-presidents do. 😐
I’m glad you aren’t an adulterer. 😁
Yes, Trump is evil. 🤔
Does anyone think Pence’s wife trusts her husband since I have read many times that she won’t allow him to spend time with another woman (even in a crowd) unless she is there supervising him?
Maybe he envies Trump’s cheating on his wives because that is what Pence dreams of every night.
Yes, Karen Pence trusts Mike Pence.
😁
Immune to reason and the plight of others
Funny how I was thinking of Dump up on that balcony and I wondered “what does that remind me of?” Covidia–Brilliant!
Seriously, how can Pence stand to be in the same room with the buffoon. On the other hand, how can the buffoon stand being in the same room with Pence?
It’s possible. Al Gore stood with Bill Clinton. 😁
Thanks for the laugh. It was a long day at school.
Mary Trump on Twitter: “Just to be clear, separating children from their parents and then incarcerating them is torture.”
She’s exactly right. It’s kidnapping and torture. If there is any justice in the world, then Trump, Miller, Sessions, and the other high officials who participated in this, including all who voted in favor of it (there was a vote taken in the Whiter House) will be tried before the International Criminal Court at the Hague.
Indictments against them should be handed down as soon as the election is over, and US authorities, as soon as power has passed to the new administration, need to turn them over for trial.
Anything short of this is a mockery.
Rod Rosenstein is far more immoral than most of us knew.
And taking nursing babies from their mothers’ arms is as deeply misogynistic as anything else they’ve done.
Yes. I was horrified to read about this. And we were counting on him, during the Mueller investigation. Silly us. Aie yie yie. A vile monster.
It was interesting, Christine, to read the reactions of the Border Patrol people on the ground during this time. They couldn’t believe it, that people would actually call for separating mothers from babies they were breastfeeding. It’s was just too vile, too unimaginable. Their response: shocked disbelief, then compliance.
But they complied!
When I say it’s misogynist, I refer to their disdain and disregard for the idea that women’s breasts have anything other than a sexual function, useful to men. The rot is so deep.
If you were to believe some at this blog, the hatred of women and the view that their sole function is reproductive, has nothing to do with Trump’s base who are the conservative religious (includes evangelicals and the politically more powerful sect). Politicians, media and advocates for public goods are too scared to mention the latter sect despite the fact that Amy Barrett and her cult, People of Praise, are a product of the University of Notre Dame.
I think that the Biden/Harris team made a decision for Senator Harris to leave the nunchucks at home. Sadly, this was probably because Americans can’t deal with seeing a strong, warrior woman do her thing.
You have to give it to Mike Dense, he is a very slick liar and managed to avoid answering most of the questions. But he’s had a lot of practice. Kamala, on the other hand, was intelligent and warm.
From my brother: watching Mike Pence is like looking at white rice that has been in the fridge one week too long.
It was upsetting to hear Pence lie again and again, without being corrected, whether about COVID or taxes or climate change.
Harris seemed to try not to be combative, so as not to rock the boat.
Overall, a disappointing debate.
I think it’s worthwhile to subscribe to historian Heather Cox Richardson’s “Letters from an American”. Here’s her perspective on tonight’s debate:
“Harris did what she set out to do. She provided detailed, clear accounts of Biden-Harris policies—her explanation of the principles of foreign affairs was terrific: simple, clear, and a dig at Trump—and she connected with viewers who did not know her well by speaking personally about her mother, her talks with Biden, and about what people’s lives are actually like under this administration. Her masterful handling of Pence’s badgering also personalized her for the vast numbers of us who have dealt with That Guy in meetings, especially since, as a Black woman, she had to counter his gaslighting without coming across as ‘angry.’
“Harris’s extraordinary historical significance as a Black woman on a debate stage vying to become America’s next vice president was not lost on anyone. America’s Black and Brown observers noted her significance to their own representation in government, and also noted how perfectly she was using facial expressions they had grown up with from older women to demonstrate that someone was out of line.”

The most significant event in the debate tonight–the fly that landed on Pence’s head, perhaps attracted by the ______ he was saying.
Yes! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
He did not look well. Did they lie about his testing so that the debate could go forward? Will there be a revelation about him suddenly being smitten in the coming days? Did the Coronavirus Czar who plays the altar boy as his professional persona lie about his own diagnosis?
Who is Mikey Pence? Well he makes a great show of play a Christian on TV. For example, he made of show of congratulating Senator Harris on the historic nature of her appearance on the debate stage as a candidate. And just before this, he completely disregarded her safety by fighting having physical barriers between the candidates despite the Coronavirus outbreak onstage. That he might potential infect her was not of the slightest concern to him.
Matthew 6: 5 (KJV): And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites. are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and. in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men.
Bob Shepherd: Oh dear, if Pence was fighting against having a plexiglass partition, Mother would be really upset. After all, Pence was actually alone on the stage with a WOMAN who was not his wife.
………………………………………..
Several days after the inaugural, Rolling Stone published a 6,500-word profile on Pence, which revealed a colorful detail about the vice president and the second lady. Citing an anonymous source, the magazine reported that Pence refers to wife Karen as “Mother.”
The article described a scene from a dinner at the governor’s mansion where Pence was hosting Democratic state lawmakers. In the presence of his dinner guests, Pence was reportedly overheard shouting to Karen from one end of the table to the other:
“Mother, Mother, who prepared our meal this evening?”
The legislators looked at one another, speaking with their eyes: He just called his wife “Mother.”
Maybe it was a joke, the legislator reasoned. But a few minutes later, Pence shouted again.
“Mother, Mother, whose china are we eating on?”
correction: despite the Coronavirus outbreak in the Whiter House.
The most significant event in the debate tonight–the fly that landed on Pence’s head–perhaps attracted by the bull____ he was saying, or was it simply feeding on the goopy, white pancake makeup that he uses in his hair?
A significant moment in the debate was Pence’s failed attempt to introduce Harris’ prior comments about the Knights of Columbus. (The male-exclusive Knights of Columbus is led by a former legislative aide to racist Jesse Helms.)
In prior comment threads for other posts at this blog, commenters brought into the discussion, “religious tests”, as objection to questions for Amy Barrett about her membership in a Catholic cult, People of Praise. I was curious where the “religious test” argument originated. One place was Republican Mike Lee’s website. Judge Naomi Rao, “her confirmation was a big win for conservatives”, was described at the Lee site as writing extensively about religious tests.
In an article at AmericaMagazine.org (a conservative, religion- focused site), Tony Gutierrez wrote his biased view which supported Knights of Columbus and, which criticized Kamala Harris for asking questions of a prospective federal judge, related to his membership in K of C.
Btw- It’s opined that Lee got Covid at the Trump event for Barrett.
The Barrett event in the Rose Garden was the SuperSpreader event.
Less reported is that there was an event for Gold Star families at the White House – indoors – on the day after the Barrett event. That’s why Trump was claiming Hope Hicks got it from military folks who just couldn’t resist hugging her.

Christine Langhoff: HOW SICKENING. She is a beautiful, intelligent and well spoken lady.
Why don’t these far R people ever notice that Trump can’t even speak in complete sentences, jumps topics, and has the vocabulary of a fourth grader?
Because, carolmalaysia, they are Groveling Old Penumbras, overshadowed by ignorant it45.
Yes, they have no cajones!
Sorry this came up twice-?!
Perhaps a sign–like the fly on Dense–that it bears repeating!
