Why is this “stable genius” hiding his academic records? This story appeared in the Washington Post:

‘Grab that record’: How Trump’s high school transcript was hidden

In 2011, days after Donald Trump challenged President Barack Obama to “show his records” to prove that he hadn’t been a “terrible student,” the headmaster at New York Military Academy got an order from his boss: Find Trump’s academic records and help bury them.

The superintendent of the private school “came to me in a panic because he had been accosted by prominent, wealthy alumni of the school who were Mr. Trump’s friends” and who wanted to keep his records secret, recalled Evan Jones, the headmaster at the time. “He said, ‘You need to go grab that record and deliver it to me because I need to deliver it to them.’ ”

The superintendent, Jeffrey Coverdale, confirmed Monday that members of the school’s board of trustees initially wanted him to hand over Trump’s records to them, but Coverdale said he refused.

“I was given directives, part of which I could follow but part of which I could not, and that was handing them over to the trustees,” he said. “I moved them elsewhere on campus where they could not be released. It’s the only time I ever moved an alumnus’s records.”

The former NYMA officials’ recollections add new details to one of the allegations that Michael Cohen, the president’s longtime personal lawyer and fixer, made before Congress last week. Cohen, who told the House Oversight and Reform Committee that part of his job was to attack Trump’s critics and defend his reputation, said that Trump ordered him “to threaten his high school, his colleges and the College Board to never release his grades or SAT scores.”

Trump has frequently boasted that he was a stellar student, but he declined throughout the 2016 campaign to release any of his academic records, telling The Washington Post then, “I’m not letting you look at anything.”

Michael Cohen said in his Feb. 27 testimony that President Trump directed him “to threaten” academic institutions regarding the release of his SAT scores.

Last year, he said he “heard I was first in my class” at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton business program, where he finished his undergraduate degree, but Trump’s name does not appear on the school’s dean’s list or on the list of students who received academic honors in his class of 1968.

Trump spent five years at the military academy, starting in the fall of 1959, after his father — having concluded that his son, then in the seventh grade, needed a more discipline-focused setting — removed him from his Queens private school and sent him Upstate to NYMA.

At the academy, which modeled its strict code of conduct after the nearby U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Trump loved competing to win contests for cleanest room or best-made bed. Although not known as an academic standout, he was a prominent baseball player and was well known on campus for bringing women there and showing them around. Despite getting a series of Vietnam War medical deferments for bone spurs in his feet, Trump has said that his military academy background provided “more training militarily than a lot of the guys that go into the military.”

Trump told The Post during the 2016 campaign that he “did very well under the military system. I became one of the top guys at the whole school.”

He said his parents originally sent him there because “I was a wise guy, and they wanted to get me in line.”

Jones and Coverdale declined to disclose the contents of his transcript.

Those who were aware of the 2011 effort to conceal Trump’s records said the request set off a frenzy at the military academy.

“I know for a fact that in 2011, the decision was made by the superintendent to remove those records and secure them so no one on the staff could get to them,” said Richard Pezzullo, a graduate who worked closely with school officials in a drive to save the school, which was then in financial distress. “People had been making inquiries, and there was a paramount interest in securing those records.”

The boarding school had no formal archive at the time. Jones said he combed through the basement of Scarborough Hall on the academy’s sprawling campus, 60 miles north of New York City, and found the real estate mogul’s transcript in file cabinets containing student records.

His deep, well-developed sense of humility?

  2. retired teacher says:

I saw this story on Vice News. The Trump’s “friends” requested that Trump’s records be turned over to them, but the school refused. The records remain hidden apparently somewhere on the school’s campus. Trump still clings to his unreleased taxes as well. Normal people would consider these secretive moves to be red flags, but not the tribal right wing. His loyal supporters still blindly embrace this charlatan and get him to sign their Bibles at his rallies.

  3. Here’s the short list of what Trump’s wants-to-keep a secret:

He paid to silence/mute women he’d had sex with in an attempt to keep that a secret: prostitutes, pron stars, beauty queens.

He refuses to release his tax returns – what does he want to hide?

Trump paid a shady medical doctor to sign a letter that Trump wrote claiming he was the healthiest president in U.S. history.

His father paid a doctor to keep his son out of Vietnam and Trump probably asked his father do it and suggested bone spurs that were never there.

He claims he is innocent of colluding with Russia but wants to shut the Muller investigation down or attack it repeatedly to cast doubt on the results. What does he fear Muller will find?

For years, money laundering for the Russians.

For decades, lying to banks and investors causing losses in the billions to them but not him.

For decades, cheating workers by refusing to pay them what the signed contracts called for.

For decades, hiring undocumented aliens and not paying them what they were told they’d get paid.

If I took more time, I’m sure this list would grow longer than Pinocchio’s nose when the wooden puppet lies.

  4. Trump would never had had his school records kept hidden if they had been any good. He’d never miss a chance to publicize just how brilliant he really is. Since he had them hidden, the obvious reason is that he was ‘the dumbest”. Yep. I’d certainly agree with that assessment. That “he already knew everything” would fit. He always knows more than anyone else.

Former Wharton Professor: ‘Trump Was the Dumbest G*ddamn Student I Ever Had’
written by FrankDiPrima / DailyKos October 13, 2017

The late professor William T. Kelley taught marketing at Wharton School of Business and Finance, University of Pennsylvania, for 31 years, ending with his retirement in 1982. Kelley, who also had vast experience as a business consultant, was the author of a then-widely used textbook called Marketing Intelligence:The Management of Marketing Information (originally published by P. Staples, London, 1968). Kelley taught marketing management both to undergraduate and graduate students at Wharton. Dr. Bill was one of my closest friends for 47 years when we lost him at 94 about six years ago. He would have been 100 this year.

Donald J. Trump was an undergraduate student at Wharton for the latter two of his college years, having graduated in 1968.

Professor Kelley told me 100 times over three decades that “Donald Trump was the dumbest goddam student I ever had.” I remember his emphasis and inflection — it went like this: “Donald Trump was the dumbest goddamn student I ever had.” Kelley told me this after Trump had become a celebrity, but long before he was considered a political figure. Kelley often referred to Trump’s arrogance when he told the story that Trump came to Wharton thinking he already knew everything….

Another biographer, Gwenda Blair, wrote in 2001 that Trump was admitted to Wharton on a special favor from a “friendly” admissions officer. The officer had known Trump’s older brother, Freddy.

Trump’s classmates doubt that the real estate mogul was an academic powerhouse.
“He was not in any kind of leadership. I certainly doubt he was the smartest guy in the class,” said Steve Perelman, a 1968 Wharton classmate and a former Daily Pennsylvanian news editor…

  5. Chiara says:

What’s funny about him is he’s so conventional.

Trump absolutely believes grades are a measure of a person’s worth, which is why he hides his and lies about them. That’s why he exaggerates his wealth and exaggerates the extent to which he earned it. This is how HE measures people, so he assumes everyone else does as well. He also worships Ivy League degrees over any other college degree, which always makes me smile, because it’s so contra to what his fans believe about him.

Wealth, prestige and conventional measures of “success” are all that matter to him.

Donald Trump is a snob. He’s an elitist – elites won’t claim him because they’re ashamed of him but he absolutely admires and values the same measures they use and value.

  6. Chiara says:

No one would really care if he had mediocre grades. Grades are just one measure and there are plenty of successful people who did middling in school, or went to ordinary schools, instead of elite expensive schools.

But these measures matter A LOT to Donald Trump, because that’s how HE ranks people.

So, his whole life, he has to lie and exaggerate and boast and brag. It’s really pathetic. What a shallow, empty value system where people are given ratings like hotels to measure their worth.

    • dianeravitch says:

He has said on more than one occasion that he is a “stable genius” and also said that he “heard” that he was “first in his class” at the University of Pennsylvania. True or not? He knows it is a lie.

      • “I went to the Wharton School of Business,” Donald Trump routinely brags at his campaign rallies. “I’m, like, a really smart person.”

I never heard Stephen Hawkings brag about how smart he is. Really smart people don’t do this. Insecure people like Trump have to lie.

      • dianeravitch says:

I have met a lot of very smart people in my lifetime and I have never heard any of them claim that they are smart or a genius. Stupid people do that. If he is so smart, he should show his scores. He used to pester Obama not only for his birth certificate but for his SAT scores and his college grades. Well?

      • Diane, DT may not know he is lying.

“Not only are false, or mistaken, memories common in normal life, but researchers have found it relatively easy to generate false memories of words and images in human subjects. But exactly what goes on in the brain when mistaken memories are formed has remained mysterious.”

“Pathological or malignant narcissism is something that manifests by a matter of degree, ranging from the relatively harmless narcissism of self-absorption and self-aggrandization to the extreme toxic narcissism of the predatory psychopathic narcissist. Narcissists, who not unlike psychopaths or sociopaths, know how to effectively manipulate people through flattery, lying, conning, and deception, can be legendarily charming, making them highly attractive to adoring others. Narcissists desperately need such adulation from others, and go to great lengths to incessantly seek such “narcissistic supplies.” And those that actively adore them, fulfilling and feeding the narcissist’s insatiable appetite for attention and adulation, need the narcissist as much as the narcissist needs them. It is a symbiotic relationship.”

Donald Trump’s desperation to be worshiped, loved and idolized is the foundation for the lies he turns into his truths but those lies will always be lies no matter what DT thinks.

DT probably believes every lie he says and his followers feed that frenzy of terminal lies.

That makes President DT very dangerous to everyone else on the planet, every life form but cockroaches that I’ve read can survive a nuclear holocaust.

  7. Bob Shepherd says:

You can’t go wrong assuming that, if Trump said it, it’s a lie. And he’s not even very good at it. Consider the way he said this: “I HEARD that I was first in my class.”

Student to Registrar: “What grade did I get in Intro to Calculus?”

Registrar to Student: “I don’t know. You need to ask around at parties and see if you can find out.”

    • I know who Trump heard it from, that he was #1 in class. Trump was in a room alone standing in front of a mirror when he said and heard it.

    • dianeravitch says:

That is so great! He “heard” he was first. No one informed him. He didn’t get a badge of distinction or a Summa award (although Kellyanne Conway’s husband George Conway tweeted that Trump was “Summa Cum Liar”).

      • Bob Shepherd says:

Wharton has had a Phi Beta Kappa chapter since 1892. If Trump had been anywhere near “first in [his] class,” he would have received an invitation, and he certainly wouldn’t have declined it out of modesty or disdain for artificial marks of distinction. The man is cognitively challenged. He’s not even a good liar.

      • The fact that Trump is such a bad liar is probably why he has millions of people that still believe and support him. His supporters think he can’t be lying because he is so bad at it.

Most successful liars are too good at lying to be caught so easily. I mean, how many successful liars can we count on the fingers of one hand (the thumb doesn’t count) about things they said and/or wrote (tweeted) to the public and then lied about later claiming they never said or wrote it?

      • Bob Shepherd says:

President Pinocchio; aka Don the Con; aka the Don, Cheeto Trumpbalone; aka Vlad’s Agent Orange; aka IQ45; aka Trumpty Dumpty; aka The Teflon Don v2.0; aka The Vury Stay-bull Jeanius is the laughingstock of the world. What an embarrassment.

      • Bob Shepherd says:

Sorry. I was wrong about that. The Phi Beta Kappa chapter at the University of Pennsylvania is for the College of Arts and Sciences, not for the business school. Wharton currently bestows the following honors:
        Summa Cum Laude 3.80 – 4.00 GPA
        Magna Cum Laude 3.60 – 3.79 GPA
        Cum Laude 3.40 – 3.59 GPA

What is the likelihood that Trump received one of these designations and has said nothing about it? Well, there is an Internet community of people who believe that the world is run by shape-shifting aliens from Alpha Draconis who have a spaceport under the Vatican. It’s about as likely as that.

  8. Wait! What? says:

    Thank you Lloyd Lofthouse.
    Keep those lists coming.

I copy and paste them and send to our red state senators asking again – and again – and again – “How is you none of this matters and you support this lying, elitist, hypocritical man?” Of course with – “If Obama did any 1 of these 1000s of documented trump lies or actions you’d be all over him?” “What will you tell your grandchildren when…?” And more.

The billionaires might not care, but I can’t believe his other base would ever put up with this crud from their local mayor or superintendent or dog catcher – – well, he’s an angry white man so I guess that’s all that matters.

    Seriously –
    Keep those lists coming

  9. Bob Shepherd says:

Of course, if Trump had done well in school, he would have his GPA printed in 22-ft high gold letters and plastered in the lobbies of his buildings around the world. Right next to the fake Time Magazine Trump as “Man of the Year” pic hanging at Mar-a-Lago.

    • Trump would probably have his gold toilet seats engraved with all of his actual successes but since he had never had a success unless we count money laundering and successfully cheating banks, investors and workers, his gold toilet seat has nothing on it.

I’m sure even Trump knows it would be a mistake to engrave all of his illegal successes on his gold toilet seat or Mueller might end up getting a search warrant and taking that toilet seat from Trump Towers in New York as evidence of Trump’s crimes.

  10. Trumps hides things because he’s a fraud as in FRAUD.

  11. Trump is a lowdown crook.

A Florida Massage Parlor Owner Has Been Selling Chinese Execs Access to Trump at Mar-a-Lago

The latest Trump political donor to draw controversy is Li Yang, a 45-year-old Florida entrepreneur from China who founded a chain of spas and massage parlors that included the one where New England Patriots owner Bob Kraft was recently busted for soliciting prostitution. She made the news this week when the Miami Herald reported that last month she had attended a Super Bowl viewing party at Donald Trump’s West Palm Beach golf club and had snapped a selfie with the president during the event. Though Yang no longer owns the spa Kraft allegedly visited, the newspaper noted that other massage parlors her family runs have “gained a reputation for offering sexual services.” (She told the newspaper she has never violated the law.) Beyond this sordid tale, there is another angle to the strange story of Yang: She runs an investment business that has offered to sell Chinese clients access to Trump and his family. And a website for the business—which includes numerous photos of Yang and her purported clients hobnobbing at Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s private club in Palm Beach—suggests she had some success in doing so…

  12. Mark Hawkins says:

Why does everyone want to see so much from him and not others?
So why don’t everyone show there info and taxes too. why just him? Sounds like the witch hunt it is. Never seen so much disrespect for this president, prior to him they all would have been in jail, at least he has made some accomplishments. I don’t agree with all of his actions but he has been more scrutinized than any other. A lot of fabricated BS and still no facts but they keep at it. I can only imagine what would have been found on Obama at this stage….Overpaid Congress Dems are wasting time and money on this BS and not doing their jobs… only to benefit themselves becoming millionaires on our tax $…. sick of this BS. STOP WASTING OUR MONEY

    • dianeravitch says:

Every presidential candidate except Trump has released their tax returns. The reason? To know whether they have conflicts of interest or engage in self-enrichment. I don’t care about your taxes. Trump’s matters.

The only reason his grades and scores matter is that he made it a huge issue for Obama. He said Obama should release his s ores and grades. He said Obama was a TERRIBLE student and was hiding his grades. Now the shoe is on the other foot.

    • GregB says:

I hope stop wasting our money also applies to the $750 BILLION (!!) increase he wants for defense appropriations as he wants to decrease all other discretionary spending by 5%. You know, the defense appropriations that already comprise at least 56% of annual discretionary spending. Wonder if Mark even knows what appropriations or discretionary spending are. Marko, if you have any family members who have a catastrophic disease, are affected by a natural disaster, or are in college or public schools, you really need to learn those definitions.

“All The Criminal Charges To Emerge So Far From Robert Mueller’s Investigation”

      Updated March 7, 2019 at 7:53 p.m. ET

      Indicted: Roger Stone
      Convicted: Paul Manafort
      Pleaded guilty: Michael Cohen
      Pleaded guilty: W. Samuel Patten
      Pleaded guilty: Rick Gates
Pleaded guilty: Alex van der Zwaan
      Pleaded guilty: Richard Pinedo
      Pleaded guilty: Michael Flynn
      Pleaded guilty: George Papadopoulos
      Indicted: Russian Intelligence
      Indicted: Konstantin Kilimnik
      Indicted: Russian Internet trolls

      Now to Hillary Clinton:

      Benghazi by the numbers

The Benghazi Select Committee was tasked with investigating how four Americans were killed, including US Ambassador Chris Stephens, when attackers raided the US compound in Benghazi, Libya, in 2012.

The select committee itself was created by House Republicans in May 2014. The committee issued its final report on the Benghazi attack a little more than two years later in June 2016 and was officially shut down in December 2016. The select panel spent $7 million during the course of the probe. …

      No one was indicted.

      No one was found guilty.

      No one pleaded guilty.

And both Houses of Congress were controlled by the Republican Party. That means the Benghazi investigation was controlled by the Republican Party.

Note: Mueller is a life long registered Republican and he was appointed to become the FBI Director by a Republican President G. W. Bush.

Now about the e-mail scandal involving Hillary Clintton:

“Key dates in the FBI probe of Hillary Clinton’s emails”

The investigation was launched by a GOP controlled Congress on June 27, 2016 and concluded on November 6, 2016 with this statement from Comey.

“November 6, 2016 — A second Comey letter to Congress stated, “Based on our review, we have not changed our conclusions that we expressed in July.” CNN reported that DOJ agreed with the decision to send letter.”

Again no one was found guilty, no one indicted, and no one pleaded guilty.

And this investigation was over Hillary Clinton using a personal mobile phone that wasn’t a government issued one and using her own server instead of a government server that had been hacked by outside forces before, and there was no evidence that Hillary’s private served was ever hacked.

Meanwhile, the Republican Party has not complained once about Donald Trump using his own personal mobile phone just like Hillary Clinton did.

“U.S. officials concerned Trump discussing sensitive information on unsecured cellphone”

“Trump Refuses to Stop Using a Phone That is Not Secure and Susceptible to Hackers”

    • Mark Hawkins: …”he has made some accomplishments.”
      Please list them for me.

What I see is a huge tax break for the wealthy and corporations. There is no ‘trickle down’ but corporations are buying back their stock and paying investors with that money. Wages have been stagnant. He doesn’t support an increase in the minimum wage of $7.25 an hour. Nobody should work full-time and not be able to survive.
He was willing to sign a law that would take 30 million off their health insurance. Instead he thought it fine to have cheap insurance that doesn’t cover much.
He has alienated our allies but has shown allegiance to Putin over our own agencies.
He has now told 9,014 false or misleading claims over 773 days. How can any country trust the USA when this happens regularly?
He has broken treaties with other countries that took months of negotiating to achieve.
One of President Trump’s goals was to narrow the country’s trade deficit. But amid a global economic slowdown, weaker demand for American goods, a trade war with Beijing and Mr. Trump’s $1.5 trillion tax cut, the trade deficit has hit a record $891 billion.
He has allowed children to be taken from their parents in an effort to keep immigrants away from our southern border. Amnesty is legal. Why not increase the number of judges so that people know if they are accepted or not? Why send troops to the border and have them sit and do next to nothing. it was a political ploy.
He regularly puts down the media and only praises Fox, or Sinclair, because they are a propaganda for him. He has made fun of a journalist who was disabled.
He spreads hatred and fear and supports neo-Nazi’s.
He has picked people for different agencies who are not qualified for the job and work to destroy their agencies. Betsy DeVos is unfit to be Secretary of Education. A former coal lobbyist in in charge of the EPA. The Consumer Financial Protection Agency has been defanged instead of helping people who got defrauded.
He has paid a porn star money so that she wouldn’t say anything about their affair.

      Please list his accomplishments.

      This a joke, right?
I mean even the kiss ups on fox news knows he lies (can’t deny tapes and documents), he’s cheated on real estate deals for decades, he has ignored military experts, and …theyre laughing all the way to the bank that the freaking president of the U.S calls Them….. he calls a tv station for advice.

And do you think he cares about you? His I’m sick of hearing about his base. Unless you’re a billionare do you think he’s invite you to Mara Lago for a casual dinner?

Trillion dollar deficit… made morth korean dictator an equal on world stage….

And by the way… your local school board candidates have to file financial report but oh no not poor victim Trump.

    • Bob Shepherd says:

Trump has made his academic achievement an issue by continually referencing, in his speeches, his exceptional education and his “genius.”

I personally would like to see him outed on this because the Republican “leadership” seems to be able to forgive Trump absolutely anything, including such lies. Perhaps such an outing would be a wakeup call.

A tiny sampling of actions by IQ45 that the Repugnicans are willing to ignore:

Ridiculing people with disabilities. Ridiculing highly respected public figures like John McCain and Jim Mattis. Bragging about groping women. Accusations of sexual assault as numerous as those against Harvey Weinstein. Encouraging violence against journalists. Recurrent, casual racism. Lying to the country, in a very big way, about how much wealth he inherited from his father. Business dealings with mobsters. Treating his charity like a private piggy bank. Funding his inauguration festivities with quid pro quos. A history of business scams like Trump University. Not making public his tax returns, as every other president has done. Asking foreign enemies to hack and reveal opponents’ private emails. Refusing to divest his business interests, in violation of the emoluments clauses of the Constitution. Obstruction of justice. Referring to Nazis as “good people.” Secret payoffs to porn stars and others with whom he had extramarital affairs. Lying about whether he had business in Russia. Appointing a Secretary of Education who wants to end public education. Climate-change denial, in contradiction of his own Defense and Intelligence services, which view climate change as a major national security threat. Unilateral military decisions, over the objections of his senior intelligence and military leaders. Shutting down the government over a wall that every independent study has concluded would be insanely expensive and ineffective. Stating that he trusts the word of the Russian president over that of his senior intelligence officials. Expressing, repeatedly, to staffers his desire to pull the US out of NATO. Alienation of our allies. Supporting murderous, dictatorial autocrats worldwide. Trashing of international agreements. Running an administration with more entrances and exits than the most farcical of stage farces. Violating the civil rights of transgender service personnel. Utter ignorance of economics and world affairs, as attested by such former members of his administration as Tillerson, Yellen, and Mattis. Trashing the INF and creating the conditions for a new, exceedingly dangerous arms race. Protectionist tariffs that they would vehemently oppose if promoted by Democrats. Not reading reports or attending to briefings. Having “executive time” for 60 percent of a given day. Polluting the public discourse with demeaning attacks on other leaders, Democratic and Republican (low-energy Jeb, little Marco Rubio, Pocahontas).

So what would it take for the Repugnicans to wake the heck up? Is there no low to which the Republican Party will not follow him? Perhaps seeing the Ds and Fs on his transcripts would do it.

      • Trump’s supporters don’t care what he does or did because they are praying he will bring on Armageddon so they, the chosen (at least in their shriveled minds) will move on to live in heaven with Trump, their god, and the rest of us will be left behind to rot — that’s what they are waiting for. That is why they stand behind this latest rendition of a false prophet and/or the Anti-Christ.

If Trump’s followers actually read the Bible, they would no him for what he is.

        Matthew 7:15

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.”

And there are another 99 Bible Verses that warn about false prophets like Trump.

Or what about this Antichrist passage:

2 Thessalonians 2:3-12 (sounds like a definition describing Trump)

“Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. … ”

News Alert Mar 10, 10:33 AM

Trump budget to seek $8.6 billion in new funding for Mexico border wall, setting up another clash with Congress
President Trump on Monday will request at least $8.6 billion in new funding to build additional sections of a wall along the Mexico border, two people familiar with the request said Sunday.

As part of a broader spending package, Trump will seek $5 billion in additional funds for the Department of Homeland Security and another $3.6 billion in military construction funds. This money would come in addition to the roughly $6.5 billion Trump said he was redirecting for the wall’s construction last month.

So, my grandma, like yours, used to say, “If you don’t have something good to say, don’t say anything at all.” So, taking her advice, I’ve been racking my brain, looking for something good to say about IQ45. Here, some possibilities:

He has lots of room for improvement.
He typically isn’t working for 60 percent of a given work day.
His tie covers a multitude of sins. So does his comb-over.

    • Bob Shepherd says:

Or, perhaps, like my other grandmother, yours used to say, “If you don’t have anything good to say about people, come sit by me.”

      • Bob Shepherd says:

that was actually Alice Roosevelt Longworth, the daughter of Theodore Roosevelt. The quotation, from TIME magazine, 1966, is, “If you can’t say something good about someone, sit right here by me.”

  16. This extremist needs to be fired. He’s a Fox ‘news’ star. That says a lot for Fox, the propaganda ‘news’ organization for Trump.I can see why Trump likes Carlson. They think a lot alike.
Tucker Carlson Calls Women ‘Extremely Primitive’ in Unearthed Audio

Fox News star Tucker Carlson once argued that women are “extremely primitive” beings who “just need to be quiet and kind of do what you’re told,” according to newly unearthed audio of the host ranting on a shock jock radio show.

According to the media watchdog organization Media Matters, Carlson repeatedly called into the popular radio program Bubba the Love Sponge between 2006 and 2011 and let loose with sexist and misogynistic language—often at the expense of well-known female figures, including Arianna Huffington and Elena Kagan, a then-Supreme Court nominee and now an associate justice of the Supreme Court.

Carlson was working for MSNBC and Fox News while he was reportedly devoting about an hour a week to these rants, in which he appeared to defend statutory rape and called for the elimination of rape shield laws, among other things…

Carlson also expressed his own personal dislike of Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan ahead of her confirmation. Noting that he’d never vote for her, he said, “I do feel sorry for her in that way. I feel sorry for unattractive women… physically, the problems with her are fundamental. She’s never going to be an attractive woman.”

  17. I think I’ll throw up. Trump’s visit ‘was a blessing’. I’ll do without such blessings in my area.
Trump tours tornado-ravaged Alabama: Trump and first lady Melania Trump visited communities damaged by deadly tornadoes on Friday, meeting with survivors and victims’ families. “We saw things that you wouldn’t believe,” Trump said as he surveyed the wreckage.

During a visit to a Southern Baptist Church in Opelika, Ala., Trump also signed several Bibles when asked by the churchgoers. “After Trump added his unique, frenetic signature to a 12-year-old boy’s Good Book, the crowd of onlookers erupted in applause, a pool report noted. One church volunteer, Ada Ingram, told the reporters that Trump’s visit was a blessing. Hopefully, it brings the community together,” The Post’s Reis Thebault and Sarah Pulliam Bailey report.

“In keeping with his vow to the state, Trump confirmed that officials from the Federal Emergency Management Agency are indeed doing an ‘A-plus job.’ The crowd there praised Trump, who, in turn, told them, ‘We couldn’t get here fast enough. . . . We love the state of Alabama.’”

  18. Liar! Liar! Liar! It’s hard to patch up a stupid moment. Trump spends 60% of his day in ‘executive time’. Therefore, he really has to save a second and a half to properly address someone. He calls everyone who criticizes him a nasty name. Pelosi got off with, “Nancy”. Yep, just another ‘fake’ bad Trump story. [sarcasm]

Remember when Donald Trump very clearly, in front of several cameras, called Tim Cook—the CEO of Apple—Tim Apple? Well, since then, he’s boldly claimed that he just said “Cook” very quietly—so quietly, in fact, that none of the people of microphones around him picked it up. And now he’s come up with another explanation—that he said “Tim/Apple” because he’s a very busy man and needed to save the second and a half it would have taken to refer to him properly.

At a recent round table meeting of business executives, & long after formally introducing Tim Cook of Apple, I quickly referred to Tim + Apple as Tim/Apple as an easy way to save time & words. The Fake News was disparagingly all over this, & it became yet another bad Trump story!

He had a senior moment. His brain grows smaller every day.

      • I read that Trump has bovine spongiform encephalopathy, better known as Mad Cow Disease from all those McDonald’s burgers he’s consumed over the last few decades.

What is spongiform encephalopathy? Spongiform encephalopathy is a degenerative brain disease caused by the accumulation of misfolded prion proteins.

“It starts with two Big Macs: Trump’s gut-busting McDonald’s order revealed by former campaign manage ‘On Trump Force One there were four major food groups: McDonald’s, Kentucky Fried Chicken, pizza and Diet Coke’

Symptoms: Humans infected by mad cow disease meat begin experiencing symptoms of dementia, memory loss, and hallucinations followed by speech impairment, …

Then there is Trump’s addiction to Diet Coke:

“As for beverages, Trump does not drink tea, coffee, alcohol, or anything stimulating. He has only one true love: Diet Coke. He reportedly drinks 12 a day.”

“Diet soda drinkers are likely to be depressed”

“Drinking diet soda puts you at high risk for hypertension”

“Your brain experiences effects similar to chemical addiction”

        And this is the clincher:

“Too much diet soda can give you brain damage”

  19. Here’s some news from my ‘GREAT’ Senator Todd Young [R-IN]. Genetically engineered salmon will destroy natural salmon. I’d NEVER want to eat such garbage. This is the best that Indiana can do? Provide jobs by creating genetic monsters? This is one more step towards having food that is not only unhealthy but is ruining nature. DON’T BUY INDIANA RAISED SALMON! It certainly will NOT improve the health of Hoosiers. Todd Young needs to retire, right along with McTurtle.
    FDA Announcement = Indiana Jobs

Good news! On Friday, the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) lifted its ban on genetically engineered salmon and salmon eggs. This is welcome news in Albany, Indiana and Delaware County where AquaBounty made a $14 million investment to produce Indiana-raised salmon. This important investment could create up to 100 jobs and help revive the local economy. Cultivating other sources of seafood will also provide consumers with healthier options, which helps improve the health of Indiana’s population.

God Offers People of Alabama New Bibles to Replace Ones Trump Signed
By Andy Borowitz, The New Yorker
    11 March 19

God has offered to give the people of Alabama brand new Bibles to replace the ones that Donald J. Trump signed during his visit to the state on Friday.

In a rare public statement from the famously mysterious deity, God said that He was furious at Trump “for defacing My book,” calling Trump’s signature “a wanton act of vandalism.”

“Where was Mike Pence in all of this?” God asked. “These people can’t do anything right.”

God added that He was “dumbfounded” that Trump had taken it upon himself to sign his name on a book to which he had “no relationship whatsoever.”

“I’ve got news for Trump: the Bible is not ‘The Art of the Deal,’ ” God said. “Of course, he didn’t write that book, either.”

    • dianeravitch says:

Trump desecrated the Bibles by signing them. He is not the author of the Bible. He has never read the Bible. He certainly doesn’t know the Ten Commandments.

      • Jesus: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Trump: “I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall.”

Jesus: “Those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”
Trump: “Sorry losers and haters, but my I.Q. is one of the highest – and you all know it! Please don’t feel so stupid or insecure, its not your fault.”

Jesus: “Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.”
Trump: “I’m in total support of waterboarding. It has to be within the law, but I have to expand the law.”

Jesus: “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.”
Trump: “I fully think apologizing is a great thing. But you have to be WRONG … I will absolutely apologize sometime in the hopefully distant future if I’m ever wrong.”

Jesus: “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.”
Trump: “I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters.”

Trump says about the Bible, “An incredible book. So many things you can learn from the Bible…the more you read it the more incredible it is…”
