Ady Barkan and Crowdpac has raised over $3 million to Fund a Democratic opponent to Susan Collins.
Whoever wins the Democratic nomination for Senate in Maine in 2020 will start with a campaign chest of $4 million, contributed by thousands of small donors.

This is Game Over
Thanks to your hard work, we’ve raised almost $4 million for Senator Susan Collins’ future democratic opponent. I want to be very clear about what this enormous people powered effort means: it means Game Over for Senator Collins.
We can’t let up the pressure now.
Here’s the thing: Senator Collins and all of her Republican colleagues have seen what our people power has already accomplished. They know that we’re doing the hard work now to replace Senator Collins in 2020. And they’re preparing to fight back.
They have powerful, wealthy donors on their side. We have… us. Let’s show them that our people power will win every time.
Help us hit $4 million raised for Senator Collins’ future opponent — use the button below to donate $20.20 one more time.
Thanks for being with us,
Ady

Done! & it’s so painless. All they want is $20 + some fees; comes to about $23

It will be so worth it it not to see her doddering face 1/2-promising the moon on ‘womens’ issues,’ then caving to the Rep majority every time…

It’s heartening to know that almost 116,000 of us have pledged to the Bribe Susan Collins Fund. Nevertheless — and I hate to be the wet noodle — I very much doubt that Sen. Collins will stand for reelection two years from now. She is savvy enough to know that her instrumental role in confirming Kavanaugh has doomed her, even without the $3,398,446 (at this writing) we’ve mustered against her.
Anticipate a retirement announcement before too long. Don’t be too stunned if Collins resigns in time for the current Republican governor to appoint her replacement.
Does anyone know what will become of the money in the Bribe Susan Collins Fund should she not run in 2020?

The money collected for the Democrat who runs against Collins was not a bribe for her. It was fundraising for her unknown opponent. If she retires, I assume it will fund the Democrat running for her seat who wins the Democratic primary, flipping it from red to blue.

Susan Collins will be remembered always, for the following:
“Party first, Party always,
The Party of Donald Trump”
Her “concerns”about Judge Cavanaugh were merely short-lived, an opus operandi in Director Mitch McConnell’s “The Betrayal of the American People”.
Under the examination of Clinton, there were high talks of ethics, integrity, and morality, but for Cavanaugh, none of this mattered, it was full steam ahead.
I believe that the puppet on the string is Trump, and the grandmasters calling the shots are Pence and McConnell.
The Democrats will win many seats at the mid term election threshold, but they must remember never to turn their backs ever again on the middle class, on the United States.
Endless flows of money must be removed from our political processes…it creates the sellout senators such as the Bookers’ and governor’s such as Cuomo that fatten their wallets and steal from the people. These are the “Janus” politicians, turning their face to the voters on Election Day, but then to their donors the rest of the year.
When the middle class prospers, so too does the nation.

Thank you, Diane. I understand that the fund is not a bribe. Collins called it a bribe, and my use of the word is intended to skewer an eager taker of corporate cash for her insulting hypocrisy.

Only 3% of Collins’ campaign funds come from small donations, under $200. The rest is PACS, corporations, and big donors

I cannot figure out how anyone can get around the fact that he lied. No one except those in the room know what happened. One of them was scared out of her mind and the other two were sloppy drunk. Even if K sincerely believes he was not involved, we still are faced with his numerous lies. Besides the testimony that he obviously bent to suit his own narrative, we have the obvious attempt of the Republicans to control the information to which the committee had access. I hope there are people who will not stop digging for information. This man is dangerous.

Hear, hear! It is indisputable that K repeatedly to the Senate Judiciary Committee, starting with his confirmation hearings to the Fifth Circuit last decade. Any office holder who looks past or explains away this fact disgraces her or his office by ignoring a violation of federal law.

I sent money to the Maine fund for 2020. Is there also a fund to replace Sen. Joe Manchin? He was the 50th vote to seat Kavanaugh and is as deserving of a challenge as is Collins.

Unfortunately Manchin stands for re-election in a few weeks. The working people of W VA are stuck with this fraud.

Manchin is up for election this year. We have no choice but to hope he wins reelection. He went the right way on healthcare and the tax swindle, and his retaining his seat is crucial to the Democrats’ slim chance of flipping the Senate. Please start a Dump Joe Manchin III Fund in 2024 — on November 7.
For the upcoming election, I suggest that we support the hell out of Joe Donnelly and Heidi Heitkamp, each of whom voted yea on Gorsuch and nay on the mendacious, belligerent, beer-swilling misogynist.

We should be looking long and hard at the individuals we are going to vote for in 29 days.
