Betsy DeVos just awarded lucrative contracts to only two companies to collect student debt.
She used to be an investor in one of the two.
The contract is worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
In the past, the Department had as many as 17 contractors squeezing college students who owe money.
How about a Congressional investigation of this sweet deal that stinks?
oh, I forgot, the Republicans protect their own. They don’t care about possible conflicts of interest.

This is not at all surprising. She has no qualifications for her position as Sec. of Education!

Not true. Eva Moskowitz told us over and over again that “Betsy DeVos has the talent, commitment, and leadership capacity to revitalize our public schools.”.
Isn’t a that ringing endorsement from Success Academy CEO Eva Moskowitz all you need to know how qualified Betsy DeVos is?
It’s all the Andrew Cuomo and the SUNY Charter Institute needed to know that anyone who recognizes the greatness of Betsy DeVos should be given total power to train fresh out of college inexperienced teachers to be just as qualified as Betsy DeVos is!
By the way, Eva Moskowitz has never once retracted her love for Betsy DeVos and her certainty that here judgement on what constitutes a great educator remains with Betsy DeVos as the pinnacle of what Moskowitz hopes to train ALL her charter’s teachers and administrators to strive for.
Thanks SUNY Charter Institute for making sure that the charter CEO who continues to support DeVos with every fiber of her being and worked so hard to make sure she was the Secretary of Education will be in charge of training as many teachers as they want to be just like DeVos.

Is it illegal or just unethical. Make it illegal. I’m sure there’s an archaic law somewhere. Are we not smart enough? Otherwise we are just whining.
