Peter Greene had a horrible Christmas. Instead of celebrating with family and opening gifts, he was at the local hospital with one of his two infant sons, who is very ill. The other boy was with him, and Peter typed this post with one hand. He was clearly upset and afraid.
What a beautiful baby!
There is nothing that can break your heart like a sick baby.
Peter, we are all thinking of you and your beautiful twins and praying for the speedy recovery of your baby.
Godspeed to you and your child, Peter! Sending prayers!
How very sad. MY PRAYERS attend you.
Take care!
… We are put here to watch out for each other, to take care of the people we are in a position to take care of.
Yes.
Thank you Peter. I hope for an all’s well ending for you, your cherished baby, and your family.
For Peter Greene and his family…
E mālama maikaʻi a ola ola
E lawe i ka hauʻoli i nā mea a pau
E hoʻomaikaʻi i ke keiki maʻi
Nā pōmaikaʻi i kaʻohana

Heartfelt prayers coming your way, Peter. I know so many whose babies have come down with RSV. It’s treatable, but scary nonetheless. Indeed, it’s amazing how fragile our little ones are. My 2 year old is currently fighting off a respiratory illness that warranted a trip to the doctor yesterday. My biggest worry is RSV since she’s never had it. Wishing your child a speedy recovery.
Nothing makes us feel more helpless than a sick child, particularly an infant. Sending positive thoughts to Peter and his family.
Stay strong little man, stay strong.
“If you ask me… the meaning of life in a sentence, I would say that we are put here to watch out for each other,” is right, Mr. Greene. Peter’s pain is shared, and his selflessness in every situation is far from Unnoticed. I believe his infant son will be alright, and look forward to hearing about a quick recovery.
RSV is scary stuff. Prayers and thoughts to your little one from Utah, Peter.
Best wishes for the speedy recovery of your child, Peter, and thank you for the amazing blog.
My family & I send thoughts and prayers to your family. Looking forward to hearing about your son’s speedy recovery.
Peter, there are so many of your supporters who care and are with you during this difficult time. I am on the board of DC Children’s Hospital and nothing so frightening for parents then a very ill child. RSV recovery rates are very good, but just devastating to work through. My prayers and thoughts are with you, your family and your son.
