Diane: Have you ever heard the voice of Jackie Evancho? She is a child prodigy, she sang for Pres. Obama, when she was 9 years old! Her Christmas music is unbelievable.
Diane, thanks for sending us reminders that there is so much beauty in this world, no matter the evil mankind is capable of.
Thanks for this wonderful video. It reminds me of growing up in Germany, the daughter of a respected organ builder. I had the privilege of traveling with my father across Europe, on numerous occasions, as he built, maintained, and serviced organs. Being surrounded by cathedrals, incredible acoustics, the music of masters, and people who were dedicated to the preservation of pipe organs, had a big impact on my life.
On one of our trips, I met the famous doctor, theologian, musician and humanitarian Albert Schweitzer. Bigger than Life! He played a Bach organ concert in a small town church. The goosebumps from this experience have lasted me a lifetime, especially, when I hear absolute perfection.
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Holidays to all.
