Steve Bannon, Trump’s former soul mate, has been fired.
Chief of Staff John Kelly cleaned house even though he can’t control Trump’s mouth or twitter fingers.

Diane, perhaps you see this in a similar, or perhaps in a different way. In the last 45 years, I can’t remember such a racist, disorganized, disreputable President as the one we have now.

this is from AXIOS. “Bannon has felt liberated since it became clear he was being pushed out, according to friends. He’s told associates he has a “killing machine” in Breitbart News, and it’s possible he returns to lead their editorial operation.
A source familiar with Breitbart’s operations told me they would go “thermonuclear” against “globalists” that Bannon and his friends believe are ruining the Trump administration, and by extension, America.
Watch for Breitbart’s Washington Editor Matt Boyle to be a central figure in this war — which has already begun — against White House officials like HR McMaster, Dina Powell, Gary Cohn, and Jared and Ivanka.”
we cannot be bystanders…. this is why it is often called a “civil” war — our friends, neighbors, community — our families. That is so true in my family because my mother’s grandchildren are spread from FL to Seattle with OK, CA, TX as well.
I have also been on the centrist/middle of the spectrum when it comes to calling out the “Neo-Liberals” who are pushing so much testing and technology with computerized tests that have no reliability or validity. There are fractured groups; we need stronger coalitions and some of the “names” just illustrates how we are divided. If I oppose Neo-liberals pushing technology tests on the school, that does not mean I am fighting a “globalist” who is working to resolve issues on Climate Change and implementing the Paris agreements. Some of our concepts are fuzzy and we need to watch the language for accuracy and precision…. because it is getting heated …. I don’t want to see a clash in Boston tomorrow. There is a “SOLIDARITY” rally at government center and it is sponsored by several groups one of them being PHENOM (Higher Education group) and on the Common there are two groups that the Mayor has provided resources to keep them separate so no harm will come to citizens.

He has told friends he could go back to Breitbart News if he were to leave the White House.
He has insider knowledge of the follies and foibles in the White House. I am betting that he will be circulating a mix of alt-facts and factoids that make him newsworthy whether he goes back to Breitbart News or not.
Only days ago some news commentators were guessing that he knew too much to be kicked out. He is the pseudo-theorist-philosopher-propogandist who dearly wants to see a “destruction of the administrative state,” and who hates all things multicultural.

The KKK and Nazis plan to rally at Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village, the heart of hyper liberal NYC. This is what Tina Fey said:

I hope the anti-fascist crowd and others just stay away from the planned KKK/Nazi rally at Washington Square Park. We don’t need any more murders or people grievously injured. The police will have to be on the look out for these maniacs who drive cars or trucks into crowds of people. Demonstrators will also have to be alert for these murderous drivers, whether inspired by nazis, ISIS or just some copycat crazy person.

As a left wing populist who sees neo liberalism as a fantasy that never can exist and never has existed , markets are not free and never ever have been . Somebody is always picking the winners and the losers . That is the function of politics or Government. Power is about deciding economic distribution .
Trump presents a problem on two fronts he is an narcissistic unstable demagogue .and he will work with Republicans to achieve an economic agenda that sets the clock back 100 years . For American workers , consumers , the environment . The exact opposite of his populist appeal of bringing jobs home. A Square or New Deal for America .
. Nothing wrong with saying that American workers will not be put in competition with the lowest paid workers in the world. That our trade agreements should enforce decent wages and protections for workers abroad and at home. If we can protect Pharmaceutical companies and Soft ware companies, by writing anti free market patent provisions into trade agreements. We can do no less for American workers. That American employers should be forced to demonstrate a real effort to hire Americans before being allowed to hire any immigrant labor from other countries . H1b on the high end or H2b on the low end of the skills scale .
Nothing wrong with cutting the number of immigrants allowed into the country. As long as that quota allows for for words on the Statue of Liberty to be the guiding principle . Rather than ethnicity or even skills levels . Nothing wrong with enforcing the border with employer penalties that makes it not a viable alternative to hire the undocumented. You could give a path to citizenship to all who are already here. All of this would be populist none of it was ever ever going to be Bannon’s or Trump’s agenda .
So if Bannon is going to throw a wrench into the Rt wing Wall Street assault on American workers by attacking the Wall Street corporate swamp surrounding Trump go for it . I do not think he will.

From Paul Krugman who compares Trump to Caligula: “Furthermore, a series of scary deadlines are looming. Never mind tax reform. Congress has to act within the next few weeks to enact a budget, or the government will shut down; to raise the debt ceiling, or the U.S. will go into default; to renew the Children’s Health Insurance Program, or millions of children will lose coverage.
So who’s going to ensure that these critical deadlines are met? Not Trump, who’s too busy praising white supremacists and promoting his businesses.”

I read this morning that Darth Vader want-to-be Steve Bannon claimed he quit on August 7th.

And Trump said he fired him. Which one do you believe? Tough question, innit? Which one is the more trustworthy liar?

I like that – which one is the most trustworthy liar? LOL!!!
How about which one is the most trustworthy psychopath or is Trump the psychopath and Bannon a sociopath?
Psychopaths are extroverts who crave attention from people that worship them.
Sociopaths are introverts who want to destroy everything and everyone.

Bannon fired?
Garbage in, garbage out . . . . That’s the new Washington “code” syntax, I guess.
Trump will never learn.
Time for Bannon to have lunch with Scaramucci at La Mirage and then chat further over strip clubs and rifle range practice.
Most of the House and Senate will stay silent and still hope they can get Trump to aid them in further destroying the public commons and plutocracizing the USA. They love their Faustian relation with Trump, and vice versa.
Now Trump will replace these losers with more losers. And then they will be fired.
“You’re FIRED!!!!!!”
This reads like one spellbound, dream-sequence reality show where D.C. is one big conglomerate, and Trump heads it. He hires. He fires. He gains personally and financially, and the next round of sycophants will be in faster than Martha Stewart can reach for a bottle of Merlot or put the lid on her new Creuset for a one-pot meal.
It’s all so dramatic, surreal, bizarre, giggle-ridden, sit-com bound, and utterly and horrifically tragic.
Laugh or cry, get enraged or depressed, but whatever you do, don’t sit back and do nothing . . . . That’s for sure!
