Betsy DeVos released a letter denouncing the KKK and white supremacists. Only in this administration would Cabinet members feel compelled to make such a statement.
Some of her allies called on her to prove her sincerity by resigning but that’s not gonna happen. She will continue to serve a man who believes that the KKK and white supremacists are his base.
Anyone who serves in the Trump administration will emerge with their reputation in tatters. By remaining in his retinue, they demonstrate that their love of power exceeds their integrity.

At Byrd’s funeral – nation’s first black president also recalled Byrd’s 10 years in the Ku Klux Klan, from 1942 to 1952. Without mentioning the KKK by name of course, Obama recalled how Byrd apologized personally to him during their initial meeting. Clinton did reference the KKK association. Remember Obama had the BLM group to the White House innumerable times….

Many in this group can allow the KKK leader to apologize and they forgive him with his “apology” and yet they do not have the ability to afford the President the same – no matter what how or when he says anything , it never will be enough. But they love that KKK leader – well known also for the good he did in the senate for W.VA.
John, IMHO this blog is great when the discussion surrounds issues of education, so don’t unsubscribe – you will learn a lot about those who obstruct and prevent the growth of this country – The sewer or swamp has a collection of republicans and democrats who don’t like the outsider.

Almost this entire administration ibecomes more embarrassing and shameful as they speak in language, and engage in action…that either demonstrates pure ineptitude that is blatant and overt, while pushing policies that harm the American people.
How difficult is it to stand up, at any time or place in this nation, and call out criminality in this nation, that perpetrated by a gun, or by a pen…and do what an administration can do?
For Trump and his staff…it borders on difficult to impossible. WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—The raging controversy over Confederate statues has impelled Betsy DeVos to Google the Civil War, the Education Secretary confirmed on Thursday.
“People have been going on and on about the Civil War, and I was like, Betsy, what the heck are they talking about, exactly?” DeVos told reporters. “After a certain point, I decided I just had to Google it.”
DeVos said that she was glad that she Googled the Civil War, calling it “an extremely fascinating chapter in American history that people need to find out about.”
“Like President Trump has been saying, the Civil War had sides to it,” she said. “Although I don’t think it had many sides. I only counted two.”
DeVos said that, prior to Googling the Civil War, she believed that parents should have a choice as to whether or not their children learned history in the nation’s schools, “but now I’m starting to rethink that.”
“I guess you might say I’ve gotten bitten by the history bug,” DeVos said, adding that she was about to Google Robert E. Lee, Stonewall Jackson, and George Washington.
