Taken as a whole, that factual timeline links #FakePresident Trump with Russia and clearly paints him as the Kremlin’s Agent Orange. Anyone that refuses to accept that evidence is a worthless fool.
Like I said a Gatling gun that has melted down from being fired .
“Mr. Manafort, 66, is among the few political hands in either party with direct experience managing nomination fights: As a young Republican operative, he helped manage the 1976 convention floor for Gerald Ford in his showdown with Ronald Reagan, the last time Republicans entered a convention with no candidate having clinched the nomination.
He performed a similar function for Mr. Reagan in 1980, and played leading roles in the 1988 and 1996 conventions, for George Bush and Bob Dole.” NYTimes March 2016
Well shucks you know we had never been in a real election before and we are just naive , looking for dirt on Hillary . Except Manafort was in the meetings.
Then there was Mike Flynn why would we ever think that the DIRECTOR OF MILITARY INTELLIGENCE would think it was inappropriate to set up a BACK CHANNEL ENCRYPTED by the Russians in their Embassy.
Who gets the needle first.
Expect Mueller to get fired .
These two timelines say a lot about Trump’s memory. He can’t keep things straight two days in a row. Is he really that forgetful? Here is a reconstruct of what he said.
……….
November 2013: At the Miss Universe pageant, Trump says: “I do have a relationship [with Putin] and I can tell you that he’s very interested in what we’re doing here today… I do have a relationship with him… He’s done a very brilliant job in terms of what he represents and who he’s represented.”
July 27, 2016: At a press conference, Trump says, “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing. I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.” At the same press conference, he insists, “I never met Putin. I’ve never spoken to him.” In an interview with CBS News, he reiterates: “But I have nothing to do with Russia, nothing to do, I never met Putin, I have nothing to do with Russia whatsoever.”
I never trusted Trump as President of the USA. He is a businessman first and his first priorty is his bottom line not our interests. He wants to be a business/country leader like Putin where he can do anything he wants with no questions asked and no rules except his own. On the other hand, I would also like to see a timeline with Clintons and their charities with other countries donating. I think he and she had their hand in many shady deals with arab countries. The same with the Bush’s. Show the flow of money and favors with them also, don’t just show Trump. Show us the history.
So Bill are you saying that you would be shocked to learn that people make donations so that their interests will be given preferential treatment. That is the Nature of Politics we give time or money so that our concerns are aired. As Sanders said they do not pay for the prose.
As far as foreign contributions to Charities ,the same . It is an attempt to gain influence. The famous Uranium deal, which seems to be the best the right can come up with a perfect example. Except you would have to be able to shift time to make it plausible. The donors had sold their stake in the company 2 years before the Russians bought in. But undoubtedly policy from Charters, to Wall Street regs,to trade agreements and immigration policy (H1B)… … have been unduly influence by money.
But we are talking a whole different level here . Trumps enterprise was funded with dirty Russian money long before he runs for office . He does not owe them a political payback he owes them everything . Or shall we say they own him, the way a protection racket owns a grocery store.
Russia is not the bad actor here they are operating in what they perceive to be their National interests. Americans who are working with a Country that we have an adversarial relationship with are guilty of treason. Especially when their motive is personal gain. There is no greater act of treason than subverting our fragile Democracy . The most fundamental part of which is our election system.
Which nations do we have an “adversarial” relationship with. I cannot find the official list, but apparently you know where it is. I just want to know how you found your way to treason in the USC.
I suppose subverting fragile democracy should be done legally. Are you recommending execution?
Katy Tur was on Morning Joe today. Joe and Mika were not there. Katy fired off a machine gun like list of questions and implications, (uninterrupted by Joe) which seemed to stun the rest of the panel. Two of the greatest minutes of commentary I have heard about this so called “witch Hunt”……….there was one answer to her questions: “we ain’t seen nothin yet.” Katy has witnessed it all, as much as possible.
