The hackers’ collective called “Anonymous” sent a series of tweets to Donald Trump warning that they have damaging information about him and plan to release it.
This is a dangerous world we live in.
Hacking should be illegal. It is theft. It should not have been done to the DNC or John Podesta and should not be done to Trump.
Trump invited the Russian government to hack Hillary Clinton’s emails. He should not have. Now he is at risk.

Now he is at risk.
Awwwww!
Everyone should see Bill Mahers opening show… especially Keith Obrman, and then New Rules. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ol3yU7x99-8&feature=em-lss
One thing said on that show was the famous line CHARActer is destiny.

Fake news.
What trump said, AFTER Clinton had said she ERASED 30,000 emails, tongue in cheek – “maybe the Russians can find them…”.
Which the press in their hurry changed into a request for the Russians to hack into Clinton’s email.
Different things altogether – at least for those of us who have to deal with the fight against hacking on a daily basis. Podesta did something stupid. We have about ten people a week who do the same stupid thing.
The dnc was warned by the FBI and ignored the warning – in 2015!!! And again after that.

Isn’t that creativity in FAKE NEWS successfully as per Breitbart Media’s goal setting?
Everybody will be responsible for their own intention as per the Universal Law of Cause and Effect.
People, who prefer to be silent, provocative, or spoken out, will suffer their consequences in different effects.
We all will go through all stages from being savage to being considerate for the welfare of others. There is no exception with different degree of severe effect on our happiness, health and longevity. The virtue of patience and forgiveness is invincibility. Back2basic

So, perhaps Trump gets hoisted on his own petard.
How utterly fitting.

Obama knew about the investigation as well, but he kept quiet so as to not interfere with the election. Due to the Democrats and the Press’ sense of propriety, we now must deal with Trump and his cabinet of wealthy deplorables. If the shoe had been on the other foot, the Republicans probably would not have had an ethical dilemma. Comey had no such concerns about casting more doubt on Hillary a couple of days before the election. We should also blame Bill for getting off the damn plane. This act resulted in Loretta Lynch turning the investigation over to the FBI.

Hacking is necessary when the government cannot, or will not, deal with a whistleblower. Snowden released information that our government was spying on citizens. He had nowhere else to go as per recent NSA trials that said, um, ‘there is no way to report, without retaliation, inside the NSA.’
Do you honestly believe that the Cabinet members Trump has put in place will uphold the law and investigate Trump? Or will they stonewall? If Anonymous is serious, they will release the info. If however, it’s a poser pretending to be Anonymous, than its just another BS fake news story.

If you Google ” hackers for hire” you will find that some advertise themselves as “ethical.” You will also find some price points for varieties of hacking.
I have no idea what “ethical hacking” is, but I think of it as the equivalent of robbery. At the same time, everyone should recognize that anything posted on the internet is fair game for exploitation by others and that privacy is a myth.
The tradecraft of spying has almost always proceeded as if “justified” by some higher purpose. So is the work of whistleblowers.
In any case, we have entered an era where investigative work on federal agencies, made possible by the 1966 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), amended 2016, is easy to wipe out. Just defund it. I think that defunding will be the impulse of Trump and his Republican supporters, and precisely because there is so much that should be investigated. https://www.propublica.org/article/delayed-denied-dismissed-failures-on-the-foia-front

Public domain is exactly what it is: public! Something kids should be taught very early in their use of the internet. Once it’s there, it’s there to stay.
But that’s not hacking. Hacking is breaking into a personal computer or network. Or, in regular speak, it closely resembles breaking and entering with the intent to steal valuables.
Personally, I’m not to concerned about someone getting in my computer. I don’t use them for banking etc. My email? Nothing there, either.
Our district network however, is a different story. No matter how often we send out warnings about responding to requests for your passwords, we have ten to fifteen people a week!
And that’s how it starts. Unless you use a computer completely off any kind of outside connection, there is no such thing as unhackable. Ask the NSA…

Rudy, agreed. There is no privacy on the Internet.
Hacking is theft. Period.
The media should take a stand and refuse to quote stolen documents, which may not be real but are certainly not ethical.
Hackers are burglars.
Just like Watergate.
Those who hack should be tried and jailed if guilty.

Pentagon papers. Snowden. Manning.
Theft as well and should not be used by the newspapers.

As a pure hypothetical: If it were actually true that Russia had “kompromat” on Trump, and if a third party had accessed that information via hack or leak, releasing that information to the public would seem to be a patriotic act.
